Is this a disposable ecig? That was about all I could find for Tron. I started out using a disposable ecig, Blu. You wont want to continue with a disposable, if you want something that is the same small size as those, look at the Halo web site. They have a G6 that you can buy and get pre filled cartridges and the battery is rechargeable. You can also buy blank cartridges and re full them with any flavor juice of your choice. V2 Cig is another option there are a lot of options out there for the 505 or 801 style batteries, I have both and use the cartridges interchangeably. It would probably be the next step of from a disposable ecig to a rechargeable ecig battery. That was my path, I actually purchased an VV Ego Twist (first) and use that with the CF4 tanks, but it's much bigger then an analog (regular) cig. I use both the bigger and smaller batteries depending on what I am doing, out and about or at home. You can use your own flavor juice in all of them. Hope this helped some.

Welcome to ECF, and Congrats on quitting smoking.

Have a look around there are many very good starter kits. Ave has some of the nicest liquids like Boba Bounty or Gorilla Juice both are very good in my books, but taste is subjective.

Whatever u decide on, get a backup, things can go wrong but not often. Remember to drink lots of water to stay hydrated.

So pull up a chair kick the shoes off and enjoy.

Thanks for all the advice. I'm looking for i guess a medium size one. The one i have isnt disposable. It's just more of a cheap refillable one you can get at gas stations and the such. Didnt realize there was so much to learn until I started looking around so dont really know the lingo for everything yet

Welcome to ECF and congrats in taking the first step to becoming smoke free!

Most of us started with disposables and while some have been successful, others like myself have not. Each set up is personal preference, meaning it may work for some, but may not work for you. Like you, when I first started I had many questions and ECF was a great resource. Everyone here is extremely friendly and will help give you the best advice and point you in the right direction. My initial thread gathering info was very beneficial to me and has been for others as well. Feel free to look it over as it may help answer some of your questions. Good luck!!!

Welcome to ECF and welcome to the beginning journey into vaping.
Don't go to youtube looking for huge monstrous clouds please! If you want great information from some reputable vaping youtubers, look up Grimm Green and Pete Brusardo. Also if you can, as I don't know exactly the vaping shops located in your area (avoid the mall kiosks) stop in and talk with your local vape shop owners.

Your local guys will carry starter kits most likely, they can get you started on a good EGO style kit which is a huge step above what you are using now, and it will help you decide if you want to invest even more money on bigger and better ecigs, ones that use full sized batteries. Plus you can sample juices from your local shops and find the flavors that help you make the transition.

Don't worry if you are using both real cig's and ecig's at the same time, it takes time to make the transition and it is not frowned upon. Eventually you might or even will quit real cig's and pick up vaping all the time. If you find the flavor and nicotine strength that meets your needs you will be in heaven and will never look back.

Good luck and feel free to ask anything you want to know about vaping in this great community.

If I may add a voice of experience, avoid the cigarette-size batteries (cigalikes) entirely and get an eGo Spinner or eGo Twist battery. "Ego" is a class of battery, not a brand; Spinner and Twist are models of the better eGo batteries.

ADVANCING UP THE VAPING LADDER FROM CIGALIKES TO EGO'S & MODS

The below setup is what you should be looking for: Two Spinner or Twist batteries, an eGo charger for the batteries, an USB/wall adaptor, and a couple of clearomizer tanks to put your e-liquid in. The clearomizers which have replaceable coil heads should be the ones you buy, as the coil heads will need to be replaced every 2 - 3 weeks ($2 - $3 each).

If you can find a local vape shop, so much the better. They will be able to explain their products, give a demo and set up your device ready to work out the door. Many often have a e-liquid flavor bar available to allow you to sample flavors before you buy.

Welcome to ECF! You are in the right place. There are so many willing to help in this forum that you will probably be overwhelmed with the info you will receive that you may be more confused after reading all of it. I suggest you find a local vape shop and ask! It is all according to what you are looking for and what you can spend. Spend you will!! The best part is that you have come to the right place and are asking questions! Keep after it and Vape on!:headbang:

between here and there
Hello and welcome to ecf.

A good place to start reading is the stickies at the top of the new members page. Abbreviations are there also.
Here is the link to get you started.

Also, to help you find any of your local brick&mortar stores, click on this link and then click on your state.

If nothing else, you local B&M's will at least give you an idea of what is available in the vaping world, altho some will just have the starter set. Their prices will be higher than the online sales, so you don't need to feel like you have to buy from there. Unless, of course, you can't wait to get started. If you do, have them show you how everything works so you don't feel at a loss when you get home. If they allow for ejuice tasting, that will allow you to help figure out what you like. Be sure to ask about the pg/vg/ in the ejuice. Hint, the thinner it is more than likely it has more pg than vg. propylene glycol=pg and will give your ejuice more flavor and more of a throat hit. vegetable glycerin=vg and is thicker and helps to produce more vapor(smoke like) but slightly mutes the flavor and gives a smoother hit.

Have fun and ask as many questions as you need. Always someone home here at ecf 24/7/365.

:)
