New member and new to vaping

I am new here and new to vaping. I found this site through a person who I consider to be a true life saver. I met this person on a forum from a social game I play on my iPhone and the associated forum. They had a mention in their sig on that forum about being smoke free for a given period and I asked about their experience. They turned me on to this site and vaping.

After a week or so of research I settled on ordering a V2 cig from V2cigs.com and I received it yesterday around lunch time. Since then I have not touched or even wanted a real cig. I even gave my left over pack to a friend at work today.

I tried to quit several times in several different ways and none of them worked. This worked from the moment I started. I am going to use my current set up for a week or so and see how I do, but I know this is going to work for me. After that I would like to consider purchasing a proper setup and I am sure this site can help me with that.

So a BIG thank you to the person that turned me on to this. I look forward to learning a lot from the members of this forum and plan to contribute where I can.

Congrats on the switch! One thing to say about ECF is that yes, it's super informative and an amazingly helpful community. I assure you, you'll have no problem in finding ways to upgrade or supplement your current gear. :3

It's a fun past time to have and it gets easier over time. Stick with it and enjoy the ride!

Welcome , and a good friend indeed , for turning into a vaper . They probably just saved your life . And at the very least , will make it a lot healthier . Good for them and you , for making the switch .

Good friend indeed. And to think, our first communication was about quitting smoking. Never spoke to or knew this person before and they did me such a huge favor. And I do honestly believe they saved my life.
