I've been vaping for a long time actually - started with crappy setups a long time ago - then went back smoking - then to Blu cigs - then back smoking - and now back again for 3 months. Have found a lot of great info here and finally signed up!

Now to my issue - it may seem petty, but hey- it's a pain in my ..... My nautilus and Aerotank are too top heavy for an ego - or even my Vision Spinner II. I have an MVP2 which I love but want another APV (or just VW setup, not sure what the difference is) - I just want something thicker so I can pop one of these bigger tanks on without it falling over every 30 seconds. I have a bunch of evod and mini protanks (which are great with the new mini air control replacement, btw) - but I certainly like the Nautilus and Aerotank better but can only put them on my MVP2.

Any suggestions for a fatty?

Thanks!

For more illogical reasons- I'm not a fan of the box form factor. It's certainly my best device and don't see abandoning it - but another VW that is as thick as Aerotank or Nautilus is what I'm looking for.
Provari has been suggested to me and I've also been told overrated. I just think overpriced. I have a hard time swallowing paying triple what I paid for the MVP2 - regardless of built quality. Maybe if my MVP2 craps out I'll rethink that.

someone got there first but a +1 for the Vamo V5.
its very affordable and does what its supposed to.
yeah there are some cons to it but for the money and what you get for it it out weighs its downsides.

i cant offer much advice on other options as the Vamo and the Kayfun 3.1 im using are the first larger vaping tools i have used.( but like you have used the smaller vaping tools for a long time. )
but i did a lot of research prior to getting both.

Hi the cloupor dna 30 is a excellent choice. It is variable volts and watts, the dna chip adjusts your volts a cording to your watts which can be set up to 30 in increments of one. It's small, feels great in your hand. It's solid built and shows ohms, watts, and volts in the digital display.it will even run a sub ohm coil safely down to .3.right now fluid vape has the newest generation with new improved electronics and 510 connection for 69 dollars. Comes with a charger. No wait time and lightening fast shipping! It takes one 18650 battery and can be vaped while charging. They have many different colors available. It won't be top heavy with your set up and will not fall over.I can't say enough good things about this mod! I have one and absolutely love it! It performs perfectly. I urge you to check it out. It won't disapoint! Best wishes and hope this helps!

Its all a matter of which form factor you prefer, box or tube style mod. I have and like both, so not much help there I suppose.

Although they are built nice enough, I would not recommend the Provari at this point in time. Yes, they are well-constructed, but there are any number of less expensive mods with superior features to chose from.

I have an eVic Supreme that is a very nice match for tanks such as the Nautilus and Aerotank Mega, or RBAs with 23mm circumference.

Great suggestions! VAMO is front runner so far - evic looks great except for the price.

Now is it that common that folks use an RBA with a digital mod/VV/VW? I see not reason not to, but don't see it too much.

To me it appears to be very common, especially with all the DNA devices and clones thereof. It gives you the advantage of pushing more power through a higher-ohm coil than a mechanical device has the ability to.

I haven't jumped on the high output vw bandwagon yet, but my favorite out-and-about combo is a Vamo V5 with an EHPro KFL+ V2 built to 1.4 ohms. Whereas a mech mod with a battery at full charge will only push ~12.6 watts through it (diminishing quickly), I'm using the full 15 watts available from the Vamo and it's constant throughout the battery cycle. Makes for a pretty nice vape. I do use low sub-ohm RDA builds on mechs at home, but regulated mods absolutely have their place with rebuildable devices. The technology is constantly improving as well.
