Hi, just joined today and will hopefully get to talk to a lot of people. I am trying to find fellow vapers in my area and have fun with it. I am not new to vaping but am new to accessing the community. I love to collect vaping gear and love to try out stuff people suggest. I just quit smoking (never had a nicotine habit, vape at 0% always, just a fixation with the habit, quit cold turkey over a month ago) and love that I can vape just about anywhere that I used to not be able to...like in my own home, in my car and even around my wife. My wife hated the smell of cigarettes so I always smoked outside or only at work. Well just wanted to say hi and looking forward to learning more or as much as I can. Thanks.

The physical 'fixation' can be way more powerful than nicotine. The behaviors associated with smoking are super hard to overcome. That is the genius of ecigs. It allows us every aspect of the act of smoking at a reduce harm rate. Smoking is also one of the hardest addictions to quit due to it encompassing every aspect in our psych as well as bodies.

Addicted to Nic, or just the Habit?
A recent discussion I had. I was a smoker so not the same, but i was always fascinated with the act, the addiction was mostly mental for me.

I know what you mean, it was bad if we went out cause if I seen anyone smoking I want to smoke, and still so I'm a very social smoker and would end up freight training them but I certainly do miss the nastyness of cigarettes and love all the different e liquids.

It would probably help you find vapers in your area, at least some on ECF, if your location showed...even just the state, if not your city and state. There are quite a few that are within about 100 miles or so of me on here. Have met 4 of them in person so far and have talked to several more by phone and through emails.
There are also some social forums on ECF for members in particular states and/or areas. Browsing through them may result in you finding some fairly local to you as well.

Your lucky not to have been hooked with the cigarette chemical/nicotine habit. I too am at zero nic and find vaping relaxing/a great pleasure.
Your local B&M Vape shop is one way to hook up and talk vaping.
Could fill in your location, it may help you in obtaining location specific information to your question(s).
On the top right hand corner of this post you will find --"your name" next to "Inbox and Alerts"
Place the mouse pointer on your name. You will get a drop down and on the left hand side of this drop down you will find "Personal Details". Click Personal Details.
In Personal Details, in middle of screen in gray, you will find "Location" Could fill that box line in.
