Hello ECF... New member here, I've been analog free for 4 months and have been loving my experience in the Vape world. It has definately been a life changer.
Tried e-cigs a few years back (mall carneys selling over-priced mediocre products) and of course was very disappointed with the whole thing. Of course... I've tried the patches, the big pharm route and even "cold turkey" with no success. I simply like the "action" of smoking and the sensation I get from inhaling something other than air.
A few months back I figured that I would try the e-cigs again... bought a Blu disposable. I guess technology has changed since the "Smoke Anywhere" e-cigs. WOW... the Blu's where really good, except the price was not cost effective to analogs so I started doing research on the net.

Now is when the crazy stuff begins... LOL

Started with the JC Vea... really good EGO style, much better than the disposables. Since I'm a gadgethead much like most of us are, I wasn't satisfied. I NEED MORE STUFF!!!!! Picked up a Volcano Inferno and Tube Tank... an even better EGO style device. Not completely satisfied with that, a local seller (at a Flea Market in my area) was selling a TW Torpedo (lavatube) kit.. also picked up a ViVi Nova... later found out I payed way too much for it, but what the heck it was a cool device and it "vaped" like a beast.

Now remember... this all started 4 months ago. LOL

Next on the list of "Adventures in vaping"... I stumpled upon a TW Screwdriver kit, let the dripping begin!!!!! Meanwhile, my G/F is watching all this and is getting interested herself. She buys a Blu kit (against my warnings), now she doesn't understand how I'm getting all this vaper and she's hardly getting any... I let her start using one of my JC Vea's and gave her some of my juice ( yes... by then I'm experimenting with making my own juice) now she wants her own but she doesn't want a BIG battery mod like the Torpedo. So we go to another local seller (at a diiferent Flea Market) and we both pick up a multi-voltage EGO style battery and some Clearomizers... now she's as happy as a pig in slop and of course I have one more device to add to my ever growing collection.

Now we reach present day (well within the past 2 weeks)... I have purchased the VAMO APV - VV / VW , absolutely love this device and I think it's gonna be a true game changer in the industry. That is if it doesn't just fall apart or stop working in 3 months. The same features as the ZMax at conciderable less cost.

This is where I'll stop... I have rambled on long enough. Hope whoever reads this survived without nodding off a couple of times. LOL

Welcome to the forum, bassplyr! I love rambling and it's great to hear everyone's personal success story and how they went about coming into the vaping community. I'm really happy you and your g/f are enjoying it! I'd say after about 6 months I started to slow down on spending, plus making your own juice helps alot. Now I only go crazy spending on juice once in awhile as a treat and way to try new flavors to get ideas to make my own. Vaping is so much more fun than smoking! :)

That is very true... "Vaping is much more fun than smoking"
That's kinda scarey, not to sound paranoid... but BIG business and government don't want us to have too much fun. Especially without them getting their "cut". LOL

Hi bassplyr4001,

Did you buy your VAMO with the revision that fixed the flat top battery issue?

Mine already had the red paper insulator at the top of the battery housing but the spring was too short in the base to push a flattop battery up.

I shorted my flatop battery since I was a dumbass and put an earth magnet on the top of the battery instead of the bottom and the spring did it's job and immediately melted to prevent an ugly situation (explosion!!!!)

I had some LED flashlights laying around the apartment, so I robbed a spring out of one of those and now have a bigger spring and I can use both the flattops and nippled batteries ( he said "nippled"... LOL)

Welcome to the forum, bassplyr ! :) I started out with Vapor4life kit.. still haven't stepped up to a bigger setup.

I must be OCD or something... I went straight into "out of control" mode. LOL
I have two big battery mods... and three EGO styles... and a mechanical mod

Just as long as you're off the analogs... you're doing GOOD!!!!

Thanks... have been lurking for a while, just decided to get a little active.
This may be bad for everyone... LOL

Welcome aboard. Another Cincy vapor here! :headbang: Can't get enough Skyline four way, need a dose at least once a week.

You play bass professionally? I'm an amateur. Only been playing about a year with a Yamaha RBX. I only play along with YouTube music video's. :D I bought a bass when my son started playing drums.

I live in Westwood. Where abouts are you?
