Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Hello everyone. I'm from Maryland and just registered here. I have been doing some research lately online about e-cigs, especially Blu. I am still on the fence as far as giving them a shot, as expected, I have some doubts and reservations. I have been smoking Marlboro Red for over 30 years. For the most part, I smoke one pack a day, but varies. If I'm home all day not doing much, I'll tend to smoke 1-2 packs a day. I have been purchasing my cigs online overseas which are alot cheaper than buying them locally. I am curious to try Blu, to see if it helps me from smoking actual cigarettes or not. I've seen the prices for the starter kit and the cartridges and price-wise, it seems a little less expensive, so thats a good thing. I think I will try Blu Premium 100 starter kit and see how that goes. I know results are different for everyone, so its a hit or miss but am willing to give it a shot, I think.

I have noticed its 50/50 with good/bad reviews on Blu in here and other reviews I have read so far, but figured that would be the case with other e-cig brands. Can you recommend another brand or two? I think E2GO or something like that, the Jet something and Green Smoke seemed decent, but I have no idea. Now I'm more confused lol

I liked Greensmoke, it was a good cigarette alternative, the constant recharging and the cost of refills made me want to change. I then got a 510-t cig sized system which I still use for work and I am now using Ego sized batteries with Evod heads and buying my own liquids and am very happy.

My running costs have dropped from from $60 or more a month on Greensmoke carts to about $10 on liquids.

At the end of the day you have got to just jump in and go for something, if it doesn't do it for you try something different. Some people are happy with Greensmoke, some are happy with Egos, some want a giant Mod with variable everything. Whatever floats your particular boat

I appreciate everyone's input, thank you. Am doing more research and I *might* want to try the Vapor King starter kit. Its more expensive for the double (with 2 batteries, 2-cigs, etc) but they use the 510 cartridge which lasts longer and is stronger too. I will definitely check out the verified vendors area on here. I will do more research first. I'm not going to just buy something to have one, I want to make sure I'm fairly satisfied first.

I dont know if its too much to ask or expect but I'd like a kit that is for:
-heavy smoker (1-2 packs a day)
-long battery life
-battery charge on the go (inside pack, without having to use USB/wall charger each time)
-decent price for cartridges
-easy to use (not having to manually fill each cartridge myself with liquid or keep changing/adding parts, etc)

I am going to check more into the Vapor King, V2, EGo and Green Smoke. Most likely will go with one of those.

Falso25-I am in Greenbelt (PG county).

We have all been there. If you want my advice, stay away from cig style devices, stay away from cartridges. MAJORITY have issues with them, they think vaping is a gimmic and quit. Don't be that person. Take a few days of reading and research until your eyes start bleeding. Go with a bigger device like the spinner or a ego twist or something along those Lines. But watch videos on you tube to get a sense of performance off what ever device you like. Don't rush into it take your time, I guarantee you will spend less money, and will be way more satisfied and happy.

I can see your point, but my intent is to cut out the cost Im spending on cigarettes and maybe quit smoking after 30+ years. I really dont seem thrilled with the bigger, modified type devices, thats why I want one of the traditional cigarette size/types. I dont really like the looks or size of the other types, they seem too big and bulky. I think for now, if I can get the Vapor King starter kit that should last me a little while so I can test it out and then decide. While doing more research its a bit overwhelming, almost to the point that I dont want to bother making a decision because there are so many options out there. If I can find the Vapor King somewhere online (their site is sold out), I'll go with that for my first one, then hopefully I can progress further. I do appreciate all of your help! Thank you.

How many times have we all heard this lol. At the End of the day whatever keeps you off cigs is the best device for you. Good luck don't be a stranger.

FYI

* I live in MD
* I was a two pack a day smoker
* I started on ego c-twist in December on 2012
* The 510 is thread type of connection. The cartridge is called a cartomizer
* Cartomizers are no stronger then the wick type (clearomizer) just different in how they make vapor
* vapor kings has good products but slightly over priced for what they are. Try myvaporstore or myfreedomsmoke.
* last and most importantly...good luck

I am new to this also and this is my experience.

I started with the Blu. Totally regretted that. The Blu almost turns me away from e-cig.
Next I tried the Vapor4Life. Much better but not there still. Did't get much satisfaction and I still smoked.
Then I got a few ego style variable voltage batteries, some clearomizer, cartomizer and tankomizer, etc. This does the trick. Though, I am still searching for better hardwares and juices. But this is not what I am recommending. I am going to go against the grain here and recommend cig-a-like for newbies.

I think cig-a-like is great for beginners if you get the right one. I say that for these reasons:

  1. A bigger device like the ego is going to make most beginners self-conscious in public and don’t use them. Then they resort to smoking … a lot.
  2. The more advance devices require a lot more learning, cares and maintenance. It’s a chore.
  3. And compared to cig-a-like there are more chances that you’ll have problems with the more advanced devices.
These things tend to discourage beginners from sticking with e-cig.

I have found a great cig-a-like kit here: Kanger KR808D-1 Cartomizer Starter Kit | Sealed Automatic - EVcigarettes.com The battery lasts amazingly long. A fully charged battery can last me half a day vs. just 2 or 3 hours with other batteries. And, its power stays strong through out the whole time even though it’s not a regulated voltage battery. The Kanger horizontal coil cartomizers that come with the kit are great too. Not to mention that it’s just $32.

If the cig-a-like do it for you, you can then think about upgrading for better and more advanced systems.

I agree with the reasons that you listed. In order for me to really quit, I needed this to be just as convenient as smoking...being more economical was a plus! I wasted $$ with pre filled cartridges in the beginning ( Blu included), after I made the switch to juice and cartos, things got better. Good luck to you, I realize that the benefits to my health and overall everyday life outweighed all the changes I had been nervous about.

Ps- I am going to look into that Kanger listed above!

HI Silver - Welcome. I used to live in Greenbelt. I think every student at UofM had to live at least one semester at Springhill Lake apartments LOL. May I suggest that one weekend you drive to Baltimore and go to either NetMix Vapes at the North Point Flea Market or Baltimore Vapes at Patapsco Flea Market and check out some of the devices yourself or Vapesxape in Reistertown. Egos and the rest can look very big when you see pictures online but it might be good for you to actually hold a few. Bmore vapes will even let you test out a few batteries and has test flavors. Both places have a good selection of batteries in different sizes. Even if you want one that is more like a cigarette, both have them for much less than what you would pay for Blue or Njoy type kits. You can also get 510 carts that you can fill yourself. Good Luck with all of the research but please do buy yourself something to help begin the journey.

Greetings! I'm in Rockville. I love the SI Volts. So does my wife. Great carts, vapor production, and batt life for a cigalike. It's 808 threads but it's not a big deal. Plenty of stuff is easily found. Volts are simple anyway and SI has great service and fair prices.

I'm going up to vapedojo in Ellicott city today to pick up an ego twist, evod, and charger. I work from home and need a workhorse but I will always use the volt out and about. I'm the type who doesn't like to draw attention and volts are stealthy.

Net mix vapes and vape dojo are good on prices but their ego batteries are knockoffs of the real thing. They work ok but they don't have the same shelf life of the real deal joye tech. I know many people who go to the flea market ( my father included ) to buy their stuff. My father was having issues with his stuff breaking a lot until I gave him my joyetech ego c twist and he's been using it ever since. Like I said their prices can be beat but you may go through 3-4 for every one real joyetech.
