Just picked up my first mech mod, a caravela, with a Little Boy and Mutation X V2 rda
My first coil build was a 1.3 ohm single micro coil and today for my second coil build, I twisted some 28g kanthal and built a single .4 ohm parallel coil.
Im hoping to meet some fellow Maryland Vapers and learn all I can about coil building and safety.

Rsunderl, I frequent Vape Dojo quite often. Great guys, and the Charlie Noble line of juice is phenomenal. Great flavor, awesome vapor production, high VG juice. They don't have too much as inventory and only carry their own brand of Ejuice and Charlie Noble (which is another Baltimore made juice)
I walked in there today looking for more 28g kanthal and the kid said they only had about two feet left and he just gave it to me. It's an awesome atmosphere and they are always down to answer questions. The two younger guys are awesome, the older middle aged lady seems to only want to sell sell sell and has no interest in dealing with anything else. At least that's the first impression I got from her. And all they sell are authentics so it's not cheap.

Getting into building can be far more addictive than the nicotine, that's for sure!
I started out rebuilding EVOD heads instead of just chuckin' them out and buying new. I am deep into NET's and I was going broke changing out clogged heads.
There's something to wrapping some new coils for the RBA's... It's almost as soothing and relaxing to me as crosswords or jigsaw puzzles are to others.

Exactly. I just moved from Detroit, MI to Maryland for a job and I don't know anyone out here but my girlfriend so I had to find something to occupy my time

Builds are working great! I've been hitting the 1.3ohm all night with a few breaks here and there. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to try out the .4 ohm twisted parallel so I have a fully charged battery. When I was building it, the ramp up time was pretty slow. If you follow me on Instagram (fckshtupdetroit) I'll be posting lots of pictures of my builds as I have a lot I want to try out.
