Hi. I just wanna ask the exact difference of a DNA chip mod and a regular variable mod, coz im planning to replace my Snow wolf Vfeng mod to a Paranormal Dna250c mod, im wonderin if its worth it to buy a mod ith dna250c chip coz we all know that its not cheap.
Big thanks ECGF
Hi, Enriks. You will probably have to check back for answers, as it is 1 am here now, but someone will surely answer your questions. They will want to know what kind of vaping you do (big clouds or not, prefferred temps, type of tank or dripper you use, etc.) and what you hope to gain from the new mod. As well as your current coil style, and setups.
Edit and post additional info, and someone who knows the hardware will surely give you an earful about the diffs.

Im just a moderate vaper, about 10 to 20ml of juice a day. im currently using rta but i also have DROP RDA for cloud chasing.
I prefer big clouds than extreme flavor.
For my coil set up, I normally use fused claptons(hybrid coils)
I havent tried to use temp control devices yet but im looking forward to it.

Btw. I've been vaping for a year now.
TIA

If you want temp control (and pretty accurate TC), say, if it's the one mod you will bring with you daily somewhere, and you'd like to have pretty accurate TC for chain-vaping on one device, say, then certainly having a DNA mod is useful. If you plan to mainly vape in wattage/power mode, well a DNA mod will also be (potentially some non-TC mods have excellent boards) perhaps more smoother and consistent and etc. However, you would then be using less of its "DNA capabilities" so to speak, and you'd have to decide if it's worth it for you. If you want something like "Replay" which is coming out now with the newer DNA devices, where you can "set and repeat" that perfect vape, (in either TC or wattage mode is so far my understanding) then it may also be useful for you. If interested in either of those functions, I'd say it would be for you.

If not interested in either, well, there are plenty of non-DNA mods that can get you a perfectly good, serviceable vape, and I guess you'd have to determine if the price is worth it for you. Etc.

Already watched reviews on dna250c but still I can't the answer that i want.

My current mod has a TC mode but it works like a .....
I put N90 wire on it then when I try take a hit it gives me a good warm vapor and a strong flavor but it also give me a dry hit/burnt taste, I like that warm vapor and good flavor compared to wattage mode. I wonder if the dna's tc mode/replay can give me that nice warm vapor and flavor but no burnt taste.

DNAs just work better and offer that extra control to achieve your perfect tc experience.
I agree with Letitia. And you don't have to use TC to appreciate a DNA mod.

I purchased my first DNA mod (JAC Vapour series B DNA 75W) a few months ago. I immediately noticed an improvement in battery efficiency. I don't use TC, its just not my thing.

My two previous mods were a Wisemec RX200 (3-battery mod) and a Segelei Fuschai 213 Plus (2-battery mod). I vape 30 watts in wattage mode. Same tank. Same coil resistance (not that resistance plays any part with a regulated mod).

I got/get a full day's use with the same batteries (Samsung 30Q 3000mah 15A) in all three mods. I attribute the better battery efficiency of the JAC to the DNA chip. I know it's weird, but I seem to get a "smoother vape" with the JAC, too.
