New mwmber here, but not new to vaping. I must say this is the most complete database on e-cig and vaper information, and I would like to thank ECF and its members for the no-nonsense style in which information is shared.
I have seen e cigs for years at variouus..trade shows and shops, but only recently took the leap to quit "analogs" (haven't gottren used to the lingo just yet) and haven't looked back.
I have graduated fron an njoy, to Fin, to a knock-off Sole 360 Elips with wickless clearomizer, and now I feel I'm ready to join the party.

Right now I have an " eclips perfection pen". it's a greensound 360 elipse knockoff.
I added a clearomizer in place of the open coil atomizer the kit came with.
It's light years ahead of my cig-a-like Njoy, but I'm already eyeing an ego twist. ;-)

The 120+ deg. summers keep the population in check..lol
The only brick and mortar store that sells e cig acccessories near me is an overpriced headshop, with a clueless staff 40 miles away.
This forum is a godsend.

I feel for you in so many ways! Am in the tropics myself. Love the heat; the humidity can be a bit troublesome... The only B&M near me is also a head and porno shop (never got past the DOMs in raincoats to check out the staff, but when I had called to ask if they carried vaping stuff, the young man answered "Uhhhh.... er....... ........ ........ well, like yeahhhhh....") The closest real B&M is 50 miles away.

And yes, this forum has been a godsend for me as well!

(Oh, and the eGo twist is #1 on my battery-to-order list.)

Humidity is low here. 8 % or so.
I am from GA so I'm familiar with the steamy heat of the south.

I sport the ego-C Twist and I absolutely love it. Definitely go for it. I find the 1000amp one is too long for my liking. I own the 650amp and it's enough to last me through the day. I am currently using the Kanger Pro Tank with it, but since I just got the pro tank, I am still testing it out and can't recommended it just yet because I find one needs to tweak it a little for optimal performance.

A friend got an Ego from a shop in Julian yesterday. I'll get details on that place tonight. The shop in Julian had prices comparable to online stores.

Thank you. 25+ years of smoking.2 packs a day..took 3 days to toss them away with the help of vaping. Almost zero cravings after another 3 days.
In 2 weeks i can justify the expense of an eGo.

So now i have graduated to an ego style 650 battery and clearomizers.
Vaping just keeps getting better and better.
Now i need a local B&M...lol
So.....
After a 45 minute demo and explanation of the ego type ecig, would you believe the local meat store-slash- liquor store now carries a niice selection of ego starter kits, spares, and EJuice!!!!
The proprietor was super receptive to e cigs and vaping!!
He even asked me to explain the parts and help.him make an initial order.
So.. folks, ask.you local shops to stock your favorite e cigs and juices.
They just might accomodatte you.
Help them help us.
