Hi ya'll. New member here. my name is Cash. 54, Married, wife, daughter, 2 cats and a Studebaker. I buld RC models and can best be described as a nerd/redneck hybrid. Actually, more "country boy" than "redneck", but that's semantics, I guess. Anyway, i've been vaping on-off for about 3 months now, but can't quite get off the analogs. I had quit for about 4 years, after a mild stroke..I would "cheat" on occasion, I probably smoked less than half a pack a year for almost 4 years. Several things happened at once that sent me back over the edge. Anyway, I have an E-roll that I'm fond of, good little unit, not real big, fits me. I' vape some local "fruity" e-juice, and "Night Shift" from Velvet Cloud. My problem is that neither of those seems to really satisfy me, even though I really like them...so, I'm smoking about 3/4 to a pack a day of Pall-Mall Orange shorts. Really want to quit, but I really like smoking. Heard about the WTA juices, might try that, might need to up my nicotene, any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help..

Hey Cash, not sure which the orange ones are,(Regular, light ect...). I tend to crave a tobacco flavor if I throw a couple beers back and a very satisfying flavor I found was Gotvapes Americana. It just seems to hit the spot for me when I crave it and gotvapes is right there in Texas too. Also if you are into pipe flavored tobacco DIY flavorshack has a black cherry tobacco that is very tasty as well.

Yeah, I'd have to say I didn't really quit smoking until I got my Nautilus Mini. There are way more quality tanks out there now but if you get yourself an Aspire Nautilus or Kangertech Genitank and a decent-powered mod like the iStick 30w or the IPV Mini, you'll get a vape that will make you think twice about cigs. As for juices, I've found a few staples but that's a trial and error thing? Quality juice is key...ITC Vapes make awesome juices at affordable prices but you can also visit juicedb.com and check some reviews. Good luck country boy!

I gotta agree with the others on this thread. You've yet to experience "true" flavor and nicotine rush from your present device. As Boomer said, consider an Aspire Nautilus (or mini, if size is an issue) with a good simple battery. My second step was the Nautilus Mini with the matching Aspire battery and it was a world of difference from my original clearomizer setup. Wish you luck, my fellow Texan!

welcome Cash
I started vaping 4 months ago, not to quit but to be able to "smoke" in more places. Now I have two habits instead of one. I cut from 35 to 3 analogs a day. What has worked for me is 1) Vaping for me is just another brand, I just switched brands. 2) I don't care how much I vape, always have my mod at hand and functional. It's not how much you vape but how much you don't smoke. 3) The analogs are out of sight and out of reach. when I have cravings I vape, when its worse I vape some more. When it's not enough I go for the analogs, take one, go to where I can smoke, and enjoy it very much.

As BoxMod says, a innokinVV3, iStick10 or iStick30 helps a lot with any good tank of 1.5 to 3 mls. and backups for the battery and tank.

Hope it helps.

I quit with a simple little firefly twist battery but as O.C.D. as I am I quickly upgraded and expanded my collection of devices...but no question a quality device and tank system on top makes for a whole different vaping experience. For example a nice upgrade might be a SVD 2.0 DNA 20, plenty of power for "normal" vaping, and not going to gouge your wallet at $80-100. Combine that with a good tank and you will be hooked for sure!

Thanks ya'll. Righjt now I think I'll stay with my ERoll..I vape VG only, and I get a pretty good cloud when I vape it. I really don't want a large device, although I have explored the possibility of an e-pipe. Going to try to up the nicotene, and try some different flavors. I've only tried 3-4 different juices so far, so I think I need to get out. mebbe get a sampler, and go from there.

to ecf cashrc. Nice to meet you and so glad that you are here. I'm sure one of the suggestions will help you because not only is this the most reliable place for vaping information but it is also a huge, wonderful family that cares.

I have to agree that you may need to get a more powerful tooter. That just might be the key to your success. I did both for a good while and just kept cutting back on cigarettes. It just got to the point where I like vaping more than I did what I had been smoking for so many years. I also think increasing the nic may help. Maybe that is why you are hanging on to your "old friend".

Here is a thread that might give you some ideas.

To find some really good deals.

And if you are interested in WTA juices.

Whole Tobacco Alkaloid WTA Eliquid Ejuice

But I personally think the other suggestions will do it for you. Let us know how you are doing. Didn't mean to bombard you with so much but I really want to help. :) Make yourself at home.

I would suggest getting a slightly bigger device, vision spinner, innokin vv3 or one of the mvp's, or an istick. Then forma tank maybe an aspire nautalis mini.

Welcome to the ECF! ^^^^^^this

I would throw in my :2c: and say its hard to quit unless you get decent vaping gear. As soon as I did I never looked back it was a no-brainer to be done...vaping become instantly better to me than cigs. Everyone has their own road to travel but get in a good car and the journey can be successful and more enjoyable than you possibly could imagine. Good luck cashrc

Welcome from yet another fellow Texan (we're all over the place) The juices don't satisfy you how? Flavor wise.....throat hit wise..... not enough nic.......what nic level are they? I wasn't satisfied til I jumped up to 24 mg nic. Then my cravings stopped. That was after 8 months of vaping, so been on 24 for about 2 years.

Some folks do fine with smaller batteries like yours.....but vv/vw can make a big difference, but first tell us a bit more about what the problem is exactly. Also........make sure to drink LOTS of water.

Flavorwise, most of them are fine. Getting more vapor from the Eroll than thought possible, possibly because most of the juices I've tried are almost straight VG. The Velvet Cloud juice vapes up a storm, there's a few guys in the shop with mods and that really surprised them. I think I need the right combo of throat hit and nicotene, and I'll be okay. Part of its a mindset, I think. Also, bear in mind I've only tried about 3-4 juices, primarily because I'm stubborn..(well, this isn't IT but I bought it gotta use it up..) Sooo...it might be a little pricey up front, but in the long run it's better for me, and won't be NEAR as expensive as a pack a day, so i just need to pony up and keep trying till I get where I need to be. If I have to get different equipment, Ill do that. I've ordered a couple of different flavors from VC, with the nicotene level maxed, we'll see what that does..

Greetings from cut and shoot tx.
You can get a tmax box mod for under thirty buxs.
Clone protank for under seven buxs.
Clone coils for bout eighty cents each.
Vape away and not out of pocket much.
I have accumilated a bunch of spinners but once you battery run low on the charger and cant be used till charged.
With the Tmax it uses 18650 or u can use 18350 batteries.
So no down time.
Now Im farting around with mech mods and making my own coils.
I smoked ciggs for over thirtyfive years.
18m nic is the wtg, 36 is a bit too much and 12m nic isnt enough.
I dont do flavors yet cause I like to vape regurlar cigg flavors.
Im always buying anything vape related.
Seem to never end lol.

Methinks a tmax would work for u.
It goes up to 6v or 15w.

Welcome Jim......I had it in my head that cut and shoot was pretty much a ghost town, but looked it up the other day when I saw you post somewhere. Y'all are zippin right along. I have always thought that was about the best town name that Tx has!

OP, yeah, finding your best juice is about the hardest thing in vaping. Vg doesn't carry flavor as well, and often requires a bit more steeping for everything to bond in it. If you ever have wicking issues, a couple drops of distilled water will thin it out for you without really changing it. I vape higher pg cuz I need the throat hit, and I don't really care about clouds. Pg = TH and flavor Vg = clouds, a bit more dehydrating, and for me just sits heavier in my chest. Luckily I'm not sensitive to pg as some folks are.
