New to the forums, been vaping almost a year. Started with a evod currently using variable voltage spinner right now. I'm trying to get into DIY juice and sub ohm vaping. I recently ordered a mod (evic mini) from a retailer (Efun.top) I seen mentioned here and other places but later found out they scammed me out my money. I purchased a uwell crown tank locally but don't have a device to use it on. I can only assume my VV spinner wouldn't work. Thinking of purchasing a mech mod locally seeing its the only thing I can afford since efun.top scammed me.

If you want to use a mech with your crown, my only suggestion would be to NOT use it on a hybrid style mech.
The positive pins on these types of tanks can easily be pushed in to sit flush with the negative portion (threading). If both negative and positive contact the battery positive terminal you are not gonna like the results.
This is why you want either a mech with a 510 pin or a regulated device.

Efun.top didn't scam you. They're a China based vendor who takes forever to ship your products. If you feel "scammed" contact them via email(yolanda@efun.top) or open a dispute with PayPal. I would get my money back before settling for a mech..
Support is a joke at Efun, I ordered supposedly from usa warehouse. Paypal dispute is already in motion, but may take weeks to get a refund. Im trying hard to stay off the cancer sticks, vaping is cheaper but the initial setup costs are a set back. Maybe I can find a cheap evod type in my local area till I can do better. If I can get a buyer for my uwell for 30$ I can get a another vape pen.

Yes I emailed yolanda@efun.top. I just keep being told to wait longer on usps. My tracking info hasn't updated in 5 days. It was shipped from usa NY to NC. Still showing in NY, USPS says it has been lost or stuck. Estimated Delivery Date Was 3 days ago. I was assured I would receive before Christmas by Efun. A lot of ppl say they had good experiences with them, unfortunately mine wasn't. At this point I'm trying to recoup my losses and buy locally or a real usa supplier. I feel i have outgrown this spinner vape, it only frustrates me with the constant recharging and gurgling. Any suggestions on buying PG locally? I know some people get it from Tractor Supply but are there any cheaper in store alternatives with smaller quantities?
tractor supply is where i got last pg - considering shelf life is 2 years or so with decent storage, under $20 for a gallon of PG is a pretty good deal... have not really looked at smaller quantities, as i tend to mix a good bit of juice... MFS (myfreedomsmokes.com) is close to you, I believe and has PG available in smaller quantities
there are some good suppliers linked/ affiliated with ECF... for gear, i often use sweet-vapes.com, vaporbeast, myvaporstore.com, vaperoyalty... all good, for me - both prices and service
ok I think I will go with the Tractor Supply gallon. Anyone else using the Humco VG? Is it safe to use?
So it already shipped and because USPS hasn't delivered it yet, you're blaming efun? It's out of their hands now. Also, you're dispute with PayPal isn't going to go through considering the items are already shipped and headed your way..

Hi and welcome. I would probably avoid a mech for the Crown, unless you have the RBA deck. Mechs really need the ability to adjust the coil value. A regulated device works much better with fixed value coil heads. Frankly, the cost difference is only about 15 bucks or so. Bear in mind, with a mech you need two batteries minimum, plus an external charger, plus the mech itself. You can get a clone Nemesis from Fasttech for 10 or 15 bucks, if you don't mind waiting 3 weeks for it to get here, but quality batteries from a reputable dealer will be 5-7 bucks each, and a decent basic charger 10-15. All of that will be more at your local store. OTOH, 101vape (the only place I looked) has the Sigelei 50 V2 for 25, and the Cloupor Mini Plus with TC, to make full use of your Crown, for 30. Both are 50 watt, one battery mods, giving you more power safer than a one battery mech (that .25 Kanthal coil on a Nemesis would scare me, and the .5 would only make 35 watts), and both feature onboard charging and pass through. I don't recommend either, but it would get you by temporarily, allowing you to postone buying a second battery and a charger until later, while still avoiding being unable to vape a mech if your only battery is on the charger. Just a thought. $35-40 isn't a lot more money than a vape pen kit...
Yes I thought about the mech but like you said I need a battery and charger which will drive the costs up. I want to state also that Efun.top solved the issues I had with shipping, so I no longer can complain. I wish visit a few vape shops today and see what they have to offer in my price range. One shop I called wanted 80$ for evic mini kit. They didn't sell just the mod alone.
