Greetings from a new member
First of all thanks to all for the great info, especially those who check in on the new member forum regularly to help us newbies.
I bought my first ecig, the Blu, a year ago… tried it out but wasn’t impressed so put it down and forgot about it.
Decided to try it again this year and am sure glad I did.
Bought from V2 and what I received filled the bill….. quit smoking the 2nd day I had the ecig, January 24th, 2011. But fulfillment issues sent me searching again.
Wound up over at Vapor4Life and ordered some more stuff….
Then I found this site…. And have learned a lot.
Then the shopping really started….I have all KR808D-1 hardware so far and don’t see changing that in the near future.
Have bought extra batteries, extra chargers, juices, prefilled cartos, blank cartos and a storage container for it all, which is already too small.
My break-even date is probably the end of this year…. IF I stopped shopping right now.
So I am glad I found this forum and thanks again for all the info

Hi and welcome! I don't know when my break even point will be either!

I use a drip tip as a mouthpiece on my Vapor4Life cartos - easy to remove for adding juice and stays cool even on a hot carto. LiteCigUSA.net has clear colored plastic ones and if they got it in stock black delrin to 510/901/KR808D-1.

I love the V4L WOWBacco juice - it's a very cocoa tobacco and tastes like dark chocolate - pretty stiff TH in a V4L carto (their WOWBoy is the same w/ a bit of mint added). I've been vaping it in the slightly cooler Boge carto on my 510. I alternate vaping that and a vanilla (usually Backwoods Brew Vanilla Bean) in my KR8 - I like it better in hotter cartos. The WOW Vanilla is also really nice but more of a marshmallowy sweet vanilla. Other than that I mostly use juices from elsewhere. So many vendors! I think I need to get a bottle of that WOW Vanilla next order. Mostly been buying prefills then topping it off with BWB Vanilla (right now it is a perfect blend).

dormouse, thanks for the welcome

I did get a driptip from litecig to try and really like it on the cartos. So another thing for the wishlist....

I like the WOW vanilla OK but find it better for adding to other juices that I don't quite like... will have to try the BWB vanilla... have liked everything I have gotten from BWB so far.... to the wishlist....

Haven't tried the V4L WOWBacco juice, to the wishlist.... so much for any break even point in my future.... but having a great time with it all...

The V4L shipping is what makes their juice expensive. Their price for a 30ml bottle is reasonable. I try to hit their good sales for orders of $50+ and sometimes they offer 25% or even 35% off in good sales. And sometimes free shipping too. Maybe they'll have a March Madness sale.

Vanilla a good mixer. I just ordered a 2-oz (60ml) doubler of Ultimate Vanilla from Tasty Vapor - hope I like it. I needed no-nic vanilla for cutting down old juices and the price was right (I started at 18mg then 2 months later dropped to 12mg and now gonna drop to 6mg).

Another great mixer is FreedomSmokeUSA Cocoa - it is almost bitter - sort of bitter sweet. It is strong and great for cutting down the sweetness in a too-sweet tobacco or any juice you don't mind adding cocoa to. I just drip a bit right in the carto along with the sweet juice. And for sweetening I use Vanilla or FreedomSMokeUSA oRyental 4 (which I also love alone - a light sweet caramel vanilla tobacco)

Welcome to the forum.
I'll stop shopping when I find the PERFECT rig and my one true juice. (Never :) )

Thanks for the welcome....
There always seems to be something else I want to try.... must be directly related to hanging out here....I am currently on seasonal layoff so maybe I will slow down once I go back to work....
But am really glad I don't smoke any more...... break might be nice but not necessary

Welcome, ardelleg! I think we all buy more initially than we intended too. It's like starting a whole new hobby, so have fun with it! I have a huuuuuge wishlist too, heehee :)

thanks for the welcome
Definitely bought more initially than I thought I would.... now that the new has worn off, a little anyway, I have slowed down, a little anyway

but the wishlist is still pretty big.....

Started with 24mg and 18mg but have started cutting down... to the wishlist

V4L spoiled me with the color coded/labeled cartos... I bought some of the blank cartos from litecig and some prefilled from cigeasy and kept getting them all mixed up.... started labeling them with the Avery return address labels

Also bought some VG to play around with and tone down some of the juices....

So far I have purchased juice from BWB, V4L, Mr E, Arctic Vapor, CigEasy, Litecig
