Hi my name's Kimberly, I can't express in words how ecstatic I am having found out about e-cigarettes and vaping. This forum has been such a huge help, I've been reading and learning so much over the last few days. There's so many helpful people here willing to share so much knowledge and support, I feel very fortunate to become a member. I only wish I had found this forum before placing an order with Eluma but, now I know better before ordering any PVs for my husband and can always up grade mine some time down the road. I've been a smoker for the past 29 years. For the last three years I've been smoking around 2+ packs per day and have been feeling the effects on my health greatly. I've tried quiting a countless number of times before using other methods with no success. After having a stroke this past Christmas Eve it was made obviously clear, it's well past time for me to quit or I might not see another Christmas with my family. Even with this reality in the forefront of my mind, I've still not been able to quit or even cut back (I'm too stressed out thinking what could happen if I don't quit, to quit!) but, I'm hoping vaping might be just the thing to help me do that. Wish me luck and with my deepest gratitude I thank you all for this wonderful group.

Sincerely,
Kimberly P.

Hi there beast775 and Thank you. I haven't gotten my PV yet but, so far I'm loving the idea of being able to control my nicotine levels and cutting back at my own pace as well as all the flavor options out there. Being diabetic, I can't always have the things I some times crave when I crave them. I think it's going to be fun to be able to have a chocolate caramel latte when ever the urge strikes, just vape one. :w00t: lol

Sincerely,
Kimberly P.

CheekyToxicMonkey, you're going to not only do great, but you're going to love vaping! After around 40 years of smoking, I broke that impossible-to-break habit in a day because of these ecigs! Look at the stats below. I'm so proud. :D

Read a lot and make friends here and you'll be an expert before you know it, helping others out who never thought they could quit smoking either. We all wish the very best to you!!! :)

Just want to say Hi, and thank you for the education that I have received from this forum.
I am about 3 months old to the e-cig experiance, and went through some real bummer e-cig brands before finding this website. Thanks again for all the great information.
I am real happy now with my Janty "ego" and Halo juice.
Best wishes to you all.

Welcome cheeky and good luck!
Just a word of warning though - if you can try and get the lowest nic strength you can tolerate (as soona s you work out what that is lol) because although nicotine is non toxic it IS still a vasoconstrictor. I'm sure vaping is going to be better for you than smoking (I love it personally) and I wish you all the best and a long healthier life!

Hi there thewomenfolk, I hope you're right. I'm so excited to get going on this, I finally got notice that my PV has shipped so any day now. Unfortunately since getting the notice, I've also started smoking like a fiend knowing that the clock is ticking down for my analogs, I'm almost in a panic. I need to rap my head around the fact that the only thing I'm giving up is 4000 chemicals. It's horrifying the hold these death sticks get on you, it amazes me that any is able to quit at all. Stories like yours give me so much hope that I can do this, your stats are incredible! I feel very proud for you, you go girl! Thank you for the encouragement and inspiration!

Sincerely,
Kimberly P.

Hi back at cha Dixie Glitter, and congratulations on your 3 months! I too ordered my PV before finding this forum and in reading the reviews here, am pretty sure I made a poor choice. 8-o But, it's a starting point and with the helpful information of the wonderful people here, I'll choose much wiser next time. I'm glad you found the right choice for you. Best of luck with your success.

Sincerely,
Kimberly P.

Thank you so much CaptJay for the warm welcome and the warning. I'm planning to start off with a level 6 mg and see how that goes. I don't want to risk going above 9 mg at the most and over time plan/hope to ween down to 0 mg. My addiction is more OCD with the action of smoking. I recently went a week with out an analog with very little withdrawal symptoms (I was just a little cranky) but, it's the not having them there when I reach for them that drives me completely crazy. I hope my plan isn't unrealistic? Not having done this before, I'm unsure so any help/advise would be appreciated. The very best of wishes to you as well. :)

Sincerely,
Kimberly P.
