A Provari in the EU is not as compelling as it is in the US. It is expensive ($300) and the warranty doesn't mean much if you have to ship it across the Atlantic. In this case the cousin could bring it across so the cost wouldn't be horrible but I'd think twice about it.

One more point: if you end up buying changers that plug into the mains, don't buy them in the US, or your uncle will need an adapter at least.

yes sir, that's the idea! as I said rather than getting something simple, we prefer getting something very reliable. Since my cousin will be with him, he can take care of the maintenance part..

What?
Your cousin is going to be staying with him for a while?

Kinda makes a HUGE difference as far as recommendations on what to send

thanks for all the recommendations! I've noticed that you recommended dif products and dif price range.
My question is if you weren't concerned about the price, what would be your choice? in terms of reliability and providing lots of smoke..

so an older chap, lack of dexterity in fingers, and poor eyesight
knows nothing about vaping? - am I close ??

so the links I post are of a variety so YOU could choose along with vendor sites
that you could shop/browse around in…

big price or little price
tell the truth, I’d recommend this :
- eGo-C Twist w/ CE5 Ultimate Starter Kit
- Kanger Protank Replacement Heads (5pk) - MyFreedomSmokes.com
rock soilid, dependable complete kit – adjustable batteries, glass tanks that can
come apart to ease cleaning / 1300mah Spinner will last long (battery life and quality)
just search “mini protank” and read for yourself (people love them)

then you have to ask yourself, do I (or uncle) want to use separate batteries and a charger
adds a whole different perspective to your vaping experience...

and a starter kit means not a separate piece, starter kit has all included
so to belittle such is rather narrow minded...

with this kit, your Uncle can learn AND see if it is for him, then if he wants
to take it to the next step (hobby or exotix) fine, it turns into a GREAT back up...

so that is what I think would work for what you asked - JMO

sure like to hear what you ended up doing, then update this after he has used it

good luck

:)

Wow, thanks again everyone! There's really great amount of information here. I'll do some research based on these recommendations and I'll probably get more than one product in case he likes one over another. I still have almost 2 weeks to decide before my cousin leaves so we ll have chance to try them ourselves before give it to him. I'll keep you guys updated! It's a great community you guys have it here..

I got my mom to quit at 62 smoked over 42 years. She is loving the CE4 tanks, cheap on EBAY! 900Mah varible spinner and EGo type. Juice is from Velvet cloud vapor, blue beard tobacco and Peach Tea did the trick she is smoke free. Its 100% organic VG juice, no dyes. She had no side effects and no cravings. For the fisrt time in 40 years she no longer hacks in the morning, her legs feel better and food tastes like it should. SHe also walks the stairs and has regained her lungs. She was also a Marlboro light smoker.

well. in the beginning I bought an Innokin cool Fire. it is a very simple mod. takes 18350 batteries. can use 510 or ego threaded tanks. has fired the same constant 3.7 every time I mash the button. the button light green-yellow-red as the battery progressively diminishes. I own and operate a tile/granite, marble company. and this thing is bullet proof for my needs at work. it has a side button and takes every beating I have thrown at it. it is 50$ and you get a tank and tip with it. they really are not the greatest tanks. but as said...you can put any kind of tank on it you want. there is my 2 cents. easy, not super cheap, but not custom made and 240$ either. basically you should get 3-4 40=60$ set ups. make sure you get some amazing juice. cause that will hook someone faster than a mod. and make sure you get something he can depend on. good luck again my friend and keep us posted
