Hi everyone I am new here and new to vaping Been going on for 2 weeks now 2 weeks no smoking I really like vaping I have mad a few mistakes first off I wanted to try and help anyone else thinking of starting out in the vaping scene. Tip one is do some research. Tip two ask around about what to start with. Tip 3 don't start out with a mechanical mod . My first mistake was buying online without knowing what I was getting into ended spending around 350+ on gear bought the magneto with rsst. The rsst is a rebuildable tank. Lots of time and money wasted bought all kinds of e juice at 24 mg nicotine which gives a lot of throat hit basically was a huge waste of money also bought a kanger tech mini pro tank 3 with a 1100 mah battery vision twist nice little ego .best to start with in my opinion . Then I bought an I taste 134 awesome mod to have also came with an I clear 30 tank which was good now I have kanger aerotank mega which is phenomenal best advice I can give is starting small and working your way up to bigger and better devices grimmgreen.com is a great place to get a lot of information in the form of a video and in depth explanations!!!!! I would also like to say hello to everyone hope this saves some of you some money :vapor:

Hi maners,

Welcome to ECF! You will find a great bunch of people here, and a wealth of information!

I have taken the liberty of re-formatting your post in order to make it more readable. I hope you don't mind, but the "wall of text" is really difficult to follow.

Starting out "small" is not necessarily the best advice. Start out "good". There are only a couple of different setups that are very widely recommended as a "Big first step" here.

One would be an MVP with an aerotank head

Others would be some good dual-battery VV manual kits (twists, etc) with a simple head (EVOD, for example).

This question has been answered a thousand times here, forgive me please!

Welcome will. I have been vaping about a year now but I am also brand new to ECF. I couldnt agree with you more, though. I smoked on an ego twist with a one-use drip atomizer for about 6 months and then made the switch to rebuildables. It still took me about 3 months to really understand what I was doing and how to do it. To all you new vapers out there, once you are ready to use mech mods and RDA's heres some advice:
Make sure you have the right tools. You can get everything you need at a local hardware store for around 20 bucks including some extra goodies.
Watch tutorials online. I follow RipTrippers on youtube. He has some great tutorials for beginners and experts.
Get an ohm reader. Seriously just find a cheap one and get it. You WILL need it.
Use an ohm calculator. These help for standard coils to help you get desired resistance every time.
Practice. Practice. Practice.
