Hi guys, I'm a new member!

I used to smoke E-cigs a few years back, the slim ones.

I don't know why but I came back to the Malboros.

I'm now trying to goback, but I don't know/remember ANYTHING about e-cigs.

I realize that there are two types of cartridges? Clearomizers and cartridges? And the battery sizes differ..

I don't want the slim ones, I want 650mh~1000mh batteries with cheap price and good durbaility. I don't expect a whole lot of vapor, I just don't want it to break. Oh, battery indicator and sleek design would be nice.

I've figured out these two sites(canadavapes and canvape), and they both seem to be ok. Maybe something from these two sites?

Please recommend me some good products! Thanks!

PS.does canadavapes sell Nicotine liquids? Cuz it looks like they do.

Hello from Arizona :) I too began my vaping with those skinny e-cigalikes and was not told to even put juice in them! haha (8 mos down the road now, I find that deplorable on the store clerks part, even if she was oriental)

I'm currently using Kanger EVOD tanks (rebuildable and/or replaceable attomizer heads, 1.6ml capacity) and really like them on top of my eGo-C Twist 650 mAh batteries, 3.2v-4.8v I've not seen the need for more power, nor longer time between charging when having 4 on hand to switch out with. I've paid for some of these two items at B&M stores we pass in our RVing lifestyle/moving about the USA (top dollar range) and also purchased from fasttech in China, as well. I prefer paying the difference to have a consistent looking/performing product over possible clones. Just sharing my experience/preferences. I too prefer the slim batteries and tanks, at my age (69), I don't have any wish to be flashy nor carry around huge heavy devices (like my VAMO v2 recently passed on to a guy with big hands and 1 EVOD Battery and 1 tank, starting off - ie, still smoking when bat was charging) - I just want to stay off the stinkies :) and eventually save some money, regain my good health, and smell better around folks! Hope my 2 cents worth is some help to you! NancyB p.s. sorry don't know about Canadian stores/products.

When I say I prefer slim ones, I mean the approx. 1/2" diameter batteries and juice holder tanks/clearomizers - not the smaller cig-alikes size - over some mods that are larger than my thumb - fat and long! The original eGo-C manual batteries got me off smokes, but sometimes I wanted a bit more, other times less - so went with a variable voltage battery and really like the change-able performance they offer.

Hi, welcome to the site

here is a great product E-vod Kit cheap and dependable,
then as you get the hang of it and want to 'step' up it makes a great back up to have around
for not much money spent.

Then depending on how far you want to go, a lot of people advance to "Variable Volt" batteries
Vision Spinner - 1300mah - Stainless

and try a bigger juice tank (glass also )
Kanger Products - DiscountVapers.com

good luck happy vaping... :)

Kanger makes good products, so does Vision and JoyeTech - I'd stay away from the plastic cheaper clearomizers CE-3,4,5 - I had a couple break in my pocket out on our 4-wheeler (big mess!) - tried rebuildable ones and non-rebuildable - nix... they are ok and cheap but to me I wanted something that would last awhile and be rebuildable and not break with normal daily use.

Thanks, both of you!

The link pufzeppellin gave me is 20 dollars cheaper than the canadian store, I'm thinking of ordering them from that site. But it's a US site so.. I'll decide on that.

I've read some stuff while u guys posted, thanks very much!

Oh, and would it be worth it to get the PRO TANKS(13 dollar ones) on top of the starter kit? Why would I want one more clearomizer? For another eliquid?(Can i clean the clearomizers and switch the eliquid?)

I think I'd also suggest one of your batteries to be a pass-through type - you can vape using it, while it's charging if you only have 2or 3 bats. Only once in 8 months time were all four of mine on the charging cords at the same time - that's when I bought a passthrough (grin). It will work in the truck, on our quad, in the house using a wall plug or a USB plug on our computer CPU - very handy! :)

my opinion - ProTanks are much larger than EVOD tanks (too big/long for me)- it's nice to have one for (each) of your all day
vape juice(s) - yes, you can easily dump the juice out and pour in another - but that's not always 'handy' for us as we're out and about. Easy to clean, easy to switch out atty heads when they get plugged, etc. I like the clear plastic mouth pieces also over a metal one also.
I'd suggest shopping sales on starter kits also. anything 20% and more off... there's a LOT to learn, things change often, new isn't always better... just pricier (grin)... watch some videos over on YouTube by PBusardo or GrimmGreen - both very knowledgeable!!!
you'll save $ if you spend the time researching what interests you - checking measurements, feedback, comments, colors available, etc.
I wish you well! off to trim a tree outside in the SUN! ahh, love the warmth!

nope drip tips are part of the tank on EVODs and ProTanks - hmm how long does an atty head last? depends on how much you'll be vaping - all day? everyday? perhaps a week, 10 days, also depends on % of VG in the juice - the thicker the juice the more often you'll be changing atty heads as they plug up - but they can be rinsed out too... I prefer to just change the head - or rebuild the coil/and add new wicking, ie, rebuilding heads... got some cotton butchers twine I want to try in my next rebuilding time slot - have worked with silica wick in the atty heads, but read that being spun glass, it might not be so great to 'inhale' in some breaks and begins floating - ???? besides the reviews on the cotton (yarn/butchers twine/cording) seems to work better (sometimes after washing the cotton 1st and letting it dry, it really fluffs out a lot fatter) - I think all atty heads come with silica wicking in them from the makers... I'd get enough atty heads (perhaps in different resistances at first, til you know what level you like with your juices) - but they can all be rebuilt to your preference of ohms level/resistance later too - over and over - so basically any you bought as extras would be ones you'd think of as backups to current ones in rotation so to speak.

In the past 3 months I have probably spent about 400 bucks on gear, and gave some of it away.

The first "kit" I bought was the IGo iGo kits which was an easy transition from cigs, but I found it to be a little gurgly and tended to need a lot of fiddling to keep it clean. Going with the kanger tank worked better Kanger Protank clearomizer – KangerTech but I also am a big fan of the provari with a carto-tank (I don't have any links to the carto tank I am using, not even sure of the name) but the provari is a variable voltage base unit which means you can play with it to get to where you want to be with the voltage so you have the best results from whatever head you use.

I have a mechanical mod with a drip tip, it gives killer volume but it is the epitome of fiddling, you have to dribble juice in by hand every 4-5 hits, however I recently purchased the magoo.. talk about a killer unit, all the volume/flavour of a drip tip and really reduced hassle factor. I go to a store that does a lot of mod work though and the guys there are great (vape city in San Jose Ca).

The magoo is my new love affair, fill er up, pop it onto the nice rugged mechanical mod base and away you go...
