Hi. I've been vaping for 1-2 years so I'm not a newbie, just new to his forum so I can't post this question in the juice Discussion thread.

No offense to the people that like tobacco flavors, but I don't. Recently tried Backwood's 555 and just don't like the cigarette flavor. Also tried several from Johnson Creek in the past and am not a fan as they all seemed harsh for the amount of vapor they produce.

Then I went to Tasty Vapor's Atomic Cinnicide which I liked better, but it wasn't until I tried a 50-50 mix of that along wih one of their sweet juices, Butter Cream or Boston Cream. I really like the combination of spicy and dessert flavors way better than either of them on their own.

However, my wife and I were going through attys at a rate that proves quite costly. About a week and that is milking the last few days with weak vapor production. Soaking didn't help. Then I realized from reading a post on here, can't remember who it was or I'd give credit to the good advice, that what DOES work, for a time, is to rinse out the thickened juice and do a dry burn on the atty to deal with the caked on gunk and I have to do both of ours every 3-4 days and then they (Joye 510s) typically last at least 2 weeks or longer which isn't as bad.

So, all that said.... I've read that TV is known to be hard on attys and I'm wondering if there is a recommended vendor with that sort of flavor profile (for instance Backwoods' fans seem mostly there for the RY4 and other tobacco flavors) that is known to be easy on the attys? I believe the issue has something to do with the thickness or "darkness" of the juice??

After doing some research here a lot of people seem to like V4L and they have a whole "dessert" section. Out of curiosity, is there any info or theories on what is different about the ingredients from one vendor to another that causes rapid buildup on the atty? For reference, my 50-50 mix from Tasty Vapor is 80/20 PG to VG and I've been buying the 48mg and mixing it down 50%. We're both also using eGo-syle and I intend to buy a VV device soon which may affect what I like but I'd still be using the eGo when out and about so the question is still relevant. I'll probably give V4L a try but it gets expensive to keep ordering juices only to not use them so I thought I'd give it a try to seek advice from the experts.

Im not an expert and do like the tobacco flavored e-liquid.
But sample packs are a alternative and for 7.50 you get 5 - 3ml bottles at Parkesvaping which i think is a very fair price shipping first class is fair as well. They have a selection of different type dessert and other type flavors since your not fond of the tobacco flavors.
Anyway good luck .

Check out BlueMist Vaping. They have over 250 juices and really great prices, $5 for 10ml, $10 for 30ml. They offer sample packs where you can pick which juices you want and I recommend getting a few so you can try a bunch for cheap. You can get (5) 3ml samples for $10 or (5) 10ml samples for $20. All their juices are made fresh and you can get them in either 80PG/20VG or 100%VG, I recommend 80/20. They also offer extra flavor shots for .50cents more and if you find a juice you really like you can get a 180ml bottle for only $30, which is dirt cheap and considerably less than what most vendors charge.

The overall consensus I've seen so far from reading lots and lots of threads on this forum is the favored place to get juice is VaporBomb.com and the best of the best for sweet juices (except is quite expensive) is Ms T's Bakery Essentials

Past that, a lot of people have a lot of good luck with plenty of places. There is a lot of trial and error, so get small amounts at first so you don't end up with 30ml of ick. Even if you do, you could maybe put a few drops of it in the cart and add in the flavor you really like so you don't waste it OR trade/give it away to someone on the forum who likes it. There is a whole section for that. Really I'd advise the smaller amounts, just a lot of them until you find something you really like. I'm waiting for my first order of "let's see if I'll like this". So we are in the same boat. Plus I LOVE sweet so if you find any really sweet ones give me a shout! The sweeter the better!

I am no expert and am, in fact, a noobie; I thought I'd like tobacco flavors and soon found out I do not. I got some great juice from RAWR Vapors, specifically Truth Serum, Hawaii Sunrise and Dawn of Truth. Their server is currently down, but they expect to be back up Saturday. The link is Rawr Vapor: Home page. In the interim, google those three juices and you'll find nothing but rave reviews.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Small sample packs do seem like a good idea since the investment is small and you don't have a lot to lose. I was partially turned off after getting the Johnson Creek sample pack and I didn't like any of them, but I must admit they did make useful dropper bottles and of course every vendor is different.

Any ideas why Tasty Vapor seems to gum up the attys so quickly?

welcome to ECF.

The problem is not so much dark juices, as some dark juices work OK, but others do not. The major problem is sediment which clogs the cartos. It's mostly a matter of trial and error because you won't know which flavor has a lot of sediment until you try it. Generally, most light juices do not have sediment. Also, 80/20 will wick better than juices with more VG.

If you decide to try a carto tank, your cartos will last longer as the carto tank system keeps the carto wet all the time.

I would find a juice that is acceptable for the time being. A massive search for the perfect juice when you first start is costly and a waste. Your tastes will definitely change and some of the juice you have will change after steeping as well.

I use 80pg/20vg and my cartos last a long time.

This is fairly popular, although you may or may not like it. People also seem to like NiteLite Bounty Hunter.
