Hey everyone. I'm very excited to start vaping rather then smoking normal cigarettes. I smoke 1 1/2 packs of Marlboro reds a day (100's).

After much research and about 1,000 YouTube videos reviews I got a Joye Ego-T - Type B - starter kit with about 4 different juices @ 24mg. I will be getting it in a couple of days. I know everyone's experience is different but from your collective experiences do you feel i have made a wise choice in the system I purchased. Also is the 24ml enough for a Marlboro smoker considering the absorption rate of the vapor, i have seen them at a higher ML.

Thanks for your help in advance, im sure I will have a ton of questions.

Joe

Hi and welcome to ECF. It seems that with the eGo tanks people either love them or hate them. But if you end up not liking it you can always use a regular carto or atty with it so it's no big deal. In my experience 18 to 24mg is about right to start out with. When I first started vaping I went with 18mg and still had nic fits, and was chain vaping for several hours each morning to get my fix. I went up to 24mg and that did it for me.

Well good luck and let us know how it goes for you.

Welcome and congrats. I too smoked Reds and I have found I'm quite content at a 24mg nic level. As far as your PV choice, everyone has thoughts and opinions about what is good, better, and best, but the eGo-T should be a good start for you. I have heard a ton of problems that people have encountered with the tank system, but don't let that trouble you. If you find that the tank system sucks, you can always go the route of cartos, attys or whatever floats your boat. One of the best things about the eGo is the options that are available.

Atomizers degrade over time from usage. Low resistance atomizers or misused atomizers are more likely to die than standard resistance but all degrade. Many rinse and swap attys often, using one while the other dries.

IMO buy some Boge 2 ohm cartomizers and learn to use them. Then if you ever have atomizer problems you will still be able to vape. And I think about 50% or more of those who buy -T models eventually switch to cartomizers for everyday vaping. Also cartomizers are good for clingy flavors you might not want in your atomizers.

Welcome! I, too, went for the eGo tank system (after finding Blu cigs a waste of time and money). You will enjoy the tank system. I advise checking all the posts here on ECF in order to get the most out of your hardware. Don't mind the negatives you will see here and there. Perfect your techniques with all the hints and tips for the eGo tank, there are many. Last but not least, you may (or may not) find times you are frustrated by fleeting drips, spills, etc. Just keep at it, many have found the tank system near perfect and never change from the original set -up. You have bought a system that can also be tweaked and modded if you find the desire. Good luck, and keep on posting! I think you will find 24 mgs a darn good starting point.

Welcome! I have the ego-c which is pretty much the same thing except with the changeable atty's. I have had it for two weeks and love it. No issues at all with it. 24 mg should be fine for you. I started out with that and have weaned myself down to 11 mg within a few months time. I quit analogs within a few days of starting to vape and have no desire to go back. Hope you have the same luck with it. This forum has tons of info and lots of great people with solid advice. I'm sure you'll become just as obsessed as the rest of us are with our PV's. :)
