Been off analogs for 31 days. (I had a 3 day relapse where I smoked 2 packs in 3 days; but still vaped. I blame this on the crappy e-juice I purchased and frustration) Even so when I relapsed, I HATED smoking. The smell, the toxins, the ashes!
I've done lots of research and lots of playing around within the past 30 days. I wish to post my reviews, unbiased soon.
Currently using 650mah inferno batteries from volcano (510 thread / ego)
I have purchased juices from Volcano which are great but only at 16mg. 8mgs seems too light not enough throat hit and satisfaction; but still good for a consistant vape. They are 80%pg 20%vg
I purchased a handful of juices from Freedomsmokeusa all 50%pg 50%vg at 6mg which I hated. Way too light and flavor not enough. I tried another level at 12mg and it was disgusting. I am not a fan of this company and their mixes (my own prefence)
I purchased a handful of e-juices from vapor gods which where a mix of 80%pg 20%vg & 60%pg 40%vg ranging from 11mg - 8mg i believe... and they were good the flavors but they messed up my mouth. (I accredit this to being a newbie vapor at the time and my body and mouth getting adjusted to it) But I liked them I may try them again.
My friend who put me onto the e-cig thing uses juices from Obsidian, which I manage to vape while I am with him and they are good too; but lacking something for me (perhaps because they are 8mg .. too light)
And last but not least I was being impatient and wanted to try a clearomizer and tank, and I did not want to pay for shipping and wait, and the only shop I found local to me (suffolk county long island) was eliquidplanet.com They are based in levitown. I was skeptical but I must say, their juices were on point ( 100% vg blue cola, vanilla and blueberry @ 11mg) AWESOME. I purchased a tank which was doa and a clearomizer which needed an adapter to work but I went back again today and they were great and went above and beyond to make right what was wrong.
I think I found my niche thusfar. I do not work for eliquidplanet.. I am just sharing my review from 31 days now as a vaporer. This forum is great too and I have found much needed information!
For the record; I enjoy the drip tip but becoming a big fan of the clearomizer. I gave up on the tank because it uses the polyfil like a cartomizer and although I don't mind the cartomizers they dont provide enough of what I need (throat hit and flavor)
I am a pack a day smoker/ parliament lights.. And I find that11mg-16mg provides the satisfacton I need, but I try to vape in between the 8mg. I made the mistake in the beginning of vaping 12 mg all day and got sick!
