Well Hi!
I'm Alex. Been reading the ECF forums for months, just barely got the smart idea of signing up. Can't wait to start posting some cool stuff and enter into the ECF community.

My current setup is a Nemises mod (black & gold), of course an 18650 batt, Mutation X v2 atty, and a dual coil build currently at .28ohms. #CottonForLife

Got a Dark Horse atty on the way, and thinking of ordering the praxis Mod to add to the collection. Had a few issues with the Nemesis so far. Anyone familiar with the Dark Horse or the praxis? Add your comments here, they're much appreciated...

I did the same thing...reading for months before singing up. I've learned so much more being able to interact with other people..this forum is Rad. I have a Nemises clone, never had too many issues. I picked up the Phenom mod and love it. Well worth the money. I've been eyeballing the Praxis mod too..that switch looks really nice.

The double-action button makes it that much more attractive for some reason. Plus, the minimal threads & direct atty-to-battery contact. Doesn't get much better.

I didn't - I kept the spring. I like the feeling of a spring button versus a magnet button, maybe I'm odd.

I may be in the minority, but for what it's worth, after playing with a 4nine and something unmentionable over the last few months I feel a bit over hybrid connectors. While you save a little in voltage drop, the danger goes up immensely. I know, just by saying that I've made it more sexy, but it's not the fun kind of danger to me -- it's the "I don't feel like I'm now taking a calculated risk, I feel like at some point something is going to go weird while I'm not sober and my battery will be screwed."

I like my mechanicals, but if I'm really chasing that minor of a voltage drop it starts making more sense to raise the OHM and pump more power with a box mod.
