Hi everyone! I saw the Blu Cig commercial a month ago-found this website for more information and was hooked! Have been smoke free for 23 days and only wish I had found out about ecigs a long time ago. I bought the AIO innokin 808d kit that came with cartomizers and I bought an atomizer to drip new flavors with. My question-is there any cartomizer, clearomizer, tank that comes close to dripping for flavor? The cartomizers that came with are flavourless. I bought different ones-same problem. I bought Phoenix bottom coil clearomizers-marginally better. I have a Kanger T3 clearomizer and a Spinner on order.(Killed my 808 battery already)Will having a stronger battery give me better flavor? I do have quite a few full vg juices. Thanks so much for your help!

welcome to ECF

dripping just happens to be one of the best methods for flavors, what you can try is getting blank carts and fill them yourself, i dont know why but a lot of the prefilled carts seem to be tasteless. lol

and yea while not the root of the problem those weak batteries dont really help either.

I'm using CE4 clearomizer, 2.8 ohms, long wicks, 1.6ml volume. Mostly I've seen this used with ego-c batteries. Flavor comes through good to me. I think this clearomizer is also called stardust. looks like this: 61-101-large.jpg

The nice thing about the Spinner is the variable voltage option it provides. Some flavors taste better either lower or higher than the 3.7v that fixed voltage batteries provide. For example, my fruit flavors usually vape better at 3.7v or lower; any more volts and they can taste burnt. My coffee flavors are best between 4.0v and 4.8v. And a cinnamon flavor seems best near 6v.

Some of the juice carrying devices that use wicks may have issues with a higher vg juice. It's not written in stone, though, your devices may work great. If you don't mind dripping juice on an atty, I hear that method provides the best flavor as there is no polyfill or wicking materieal involved between the juice and the heating coil.

I personally never had much luck with dripping. My initial attempts just didn't work out, and then I found cartotanks. For my vaping pleasure I have been very content with a high quality single coil carto in a pyrex tank.

you might be happier w/ a mod, but if you want to stick with the kr808d-1's (and I like them) you can get needle free filling nanos at Volt. I love the little things. So quick & easy to fill- you never have to drop everything to fuss w/ it. That alone is worth it. And it is nice to see the level of juice. They're cheap, too. Just be sure to cap them immediately after filling them.

Don't worry I will ask lots of stupid questions! It feels like I'm studying for a physic exam(lost lol) I think because I started with dripping and fell in love right away, my expectations are high. I do like the Ce3 clearomizers though and when my battery is fresh, I get a good draw with flavor(just not even close to the same though) I have to use an ego adapter with them until I get my spinner. Do you lose a little flavor with an adapter?
