New Member, Questions about AVE and Protanks

Lurker turned member here, nice to finally post here. So after hearing great things about Alien Visions ejuice from a few friends I decided to give them a try and ordered a few flavors earlier today. However afterwords I saw a few things that said high vg ejuice does not work well with some tanks.

So my question is will I be fine using their liquids in my protank? I use an ego twist for the time being but I just ordered a Zmax v3 that should be here Friday. Just want to know if I should start shopping around for a new tank, and if so what should I buy? Thanks a lot guys I appreciate any insight you can give me.

there are mixed reports on the protank when dealing with high vg juices, in some cases you will need to remove the flavor wick from the protank head. personally i havent had to, but i dont run bobas from my protank. i can say that many of the pg blends are thin enough to run in my protank with no modification.

if you are looking to spread out in tanks, i have had good luck with most of the bottom coil tanks (evod, mt3, ismoka bcc, protank), vivi novas are a good choice if you are wanting a warmer vape, but with those you tend to have to do the "ce swirl" when the juice gets low (invert the tank to get the juice on the wicks). some folks do this with high vg juices in them too.

carto tanks are another good choice, visit baditudes blog for an impressivly good primer on those.

Thanks for the reply. I'll give the protank a go with the ave liquid. That being said I was looking at getting one of the Ismoka BBC tanks. Would they perform well with high vg juices?

never tried them with my high vg juices, they work great with my others but they are 60/40 pg/vg. i would imagine that you may need to remove a flavor wick from them too, fortunately they come apart in a similar manner to the kanger heads.

Bobas and GJ work just fine with my protank 2's. But I do replace the flavor wick with cotton.

High VG well gunk up coils faster, so I switch them out about once a day.
