Hello everyone I am a new member and have just started smoking the e-cigs. Been two days since I layed down the real cigs. Like the concept and have been pretty pleased with the performance of currently purchased ecig. I'm wondering which ecigs perform best and which companys are most reliable. I know I can spend a ton of money with trial and error and would like to avoid that. I wanted to know from experienced ecig users which is perfered. I currently have an ecig from disposableecig.com and it looks like the 402 that was mentioned on this site. Seems to be working pretty good but my buddy has had problems with both of his and he thinks the atomizers quit just after a couple of days. I want a reliable product so I dont have to run out to the store and buy cigarrettes because I have a piece of junk that wont work half the time. I know with any product I will need to have replacement parts on stand by but I would like to have the most relieable product with minimal expense. Thanks to anyone who can help me with suggestions.

a KR808D-1 is a 2 piece e-cig, it uses cartridges with atomizers built in so you don't need to mess with them anymore, just screw on the cart to the battery and vape away... a pack of 5 carts is around 10 bux, the good thing is it's your choice whether you want to top up the carts or refill them with juice, obviously you can save money that way, but i don't bother i just throw them out and put on a new one.

the KR808D-1 is the most simple e-cig that there is, and Vapor4Life has a big reputation here because of their unique customer service and warranty (theirs is called the 'Vapor King'), battery died ? got some carts that don't wanna vape properly ? usb passthru died ? just let them know in the comments section of your next order and they'll give you a replacement for free.

If that sounds like the kind of service you want for yourself then you can check out their site Vapor4Life:: Because it's your life :: Electronic Cigarettes & Alternatives to Smoking and check out their subforum here : http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/, theres a LOT of very helpful people in there if you have questions.

My experience with the M40X series is the atty tends to get dry on me and is a culprit to dead atties. I still use mine on occasion but give it time to wic juice so I don't dry it out. When I first bought it I lost 3 atties in the first 3 or 4 weeks. The cart is too small for me. I run it out of juice too quick. That's been my experience.

Welcome to the forum. Make yourself at home. Lots of good info and people here!

From most of the threads the Joye510 is the most popular, plenty of flavor, vapor and throat hit. The KR808D-1 is the next popular, less mess, but more expensive in my opinion. I have had both and liked them both, but my only vaping machine now is the Chuck. Good luck and welcome, do some reading, this forum is full of info on everything and anything:)

Thanks for the replies. I hate to waste money on trial and error and then think this ecig business is a bunch of bull just because I was exposed to bad products or service. I really want this to work for me because regular cigs suck now that my cig company started putting god only knows in them to make them fire safe. So far the current ecig I have now seems to be working fine but going thru carts pretty quick. My friend that got one from same supplier isnt so lucky. His atomizer went bad in just a couple of days got replacement today and still having problems. I still want to try other brands and only want the best for my money. Thanks for the help.

I've been using the PR-111 from Premiumecigarette.com for over 3 weeks now with no functional problems at all. Total cost was $80.00 shipped and arrived in 3 days. It's a 2 piece unit (cartomizer and battery) like the KR808D-1.
I bought a bottle of e-juice and just started to refill my old dried cartridges. The refills work great and should really save me quite a bit.
I just ordered an L2-510 starter kit as a back-up in case something goes bad on the PR-111. I will also use the 510 to experiment with different e-juice mixtures.

If that is a 401 it is a pretty good little atty. There are more then one maker and performance is different. I drip into mine and like it very well this way, there are much cheaper replacement parts then the site you got yours from. This is only one of a few that I get parts from but atties will usually last at least a few months or more on average. They can be flooded when dripoping and must be blown out on occasion and can also get to dry using the carts if vaping often.
