Mmmm insecurity is a ..... that can be beat tomorrow by working out your monthly spend on tabacco and putting it down on
some gadgets. get a fail safe solution .There is a 5 V USB wire gadget that can plug into any 5vdc outlet any where any time.
It can even be powered by a charge bank like the ones sold for phones. have juice and tank good to go anytime anywhere.

No, I was just kidding. :) I'm so incredibly happy with this switch, and drinking was a huge test of whether I could kick the smokes or not. The more I read about PG and nicotine, the happier I get. I haven't had a cigarette since 10 pm Sunday, and now its 3:40 am Tuesday. This is the first time I've been more than 3 waking hours without at cigarette in 9 years. And the first time I've gone more that 30 drunken minutes without one in 8 years. I've spent the last 28 hours recommending the switch to every smoker I know.

Looking at the banners you folk in the states have it bad your smokes are so cheap In Oz they are taxed to nearly a $ each.
who exactly doesn't want you to quit?

How the system works in the U.S.:

1. Politician proposes some health initiative, but no one wants to see their income tax increase.

2. Politician proposes to fund said initiative by imposing a "sin tax," which is a tax on tobacco and/or alcohol products.

3. Depending on whether it happens at the state or federal level, either ballot measure or federal bill is introduced. Since the majority of Americans are not smokers or tobacco users, the bill will pass since it will not effect most voters, but it WILL fund a public health initiative which will benefit a large number of people.

4. Smokers and chewers pay more.

In the States, offering to pay for something with a tobacco tax is a pretty much sure-fire way to get it passed. The problem is that as fewer and fewer Americans smoke every year, everything that way pay for with tobacco taxes loses funding each year. But as a culture, we want services, but we don't want our taxes to go up to pay for them. Hence, we have no nationalized health-care system even though it would save everyone money.

And I read your post incorrectly. According to Google, the exchange rate of U.S. $ to Autralian $ is very close. Are you saying your smokes are taxed at $1 per piece, or 1$ per pack?

But I do have a bit of a problem. I've been doing research to find out how to take care of my PV in order to keep from having to replace it too often. If I don't have to replace it, my math says I will save about $120/month by buying E-Liquids from a local vendor rather than cigarettes ($5/pack at 1 pack/per vs $7/bottle of e-liquid at about 1 10ml bottle/week). But that math changes depending on how often I have to buy a new PV. The model I purchased was cheap. It was about $17 and the brand name is "Super Vapour," which I can't even find via Google. It has a mouthpiece, battery, and refillable chamber which pulls liquid into an atomizer via two wicks. I cannot find any way to remove the atomizer from the chamber for cleaning, and in fact can't find anything about atomizers with wicks. Does anyone know a way for me to clean this? Should I consider buying a different model of PV?

I guess the answer to the main part of my question is that I have a "clearomizer," not and "atomizer."

Very close to 1 $

A packet of 25 is about on average $18 *25= 72cents per cigarette.

I smoke roll your own tobacco 50 gms at a cost with papers and filters $42.00 per purchase.

I would need a new lot every 4-5 days on average so about 1.5 packets per week say $60+ per week $240 per month.
It was cheaper that way compared to pre made cigs
a pack of 25s per day @$18x7days would have been $126 per week $504 per month.

So I averaged it all out and spent 1 months cig budget on vapeing gear.

I have more than enough gadgets VVs VWs Att this, cart that, clearo and a heap of flavors and Nic
enough juice for for 3 months if not more..

So even spending say $300- $500 to set up I am already ahead health and $ wise.

Prices in the states vary greatly depending on location and brand. Where I live, a pack of 20 cigarettes costs $4-$7. My brand cost me $4.98 per day, since I almost always bought them at the same place. But our taxes on tobacco products go up frequently, so we'll probably catch up with you soon. In the mean time, I just got a bottle of juice that will probably last me almost a month for only $18.50, and my eGo battery and clearomizer only cost me $17. To hell with smoking! :)

And one other thing:

I am drinking right now. I have been vaping the entire time, and I don't want to murder anyone. This is the first time since I was 17 that I have been able to drink without chain-smoking. I look forward to waking up tomorrow and not have a throat that feels like I swallowed a porcupine. :) I really WANT a conventional cigarette right now, but the ones I have remaining are sitting on the counter and I'm not rushing for them. Hopefully, that craving will go away quickly. I can't wait to get rid of those damn things tomorrow.

That's got to be a good move. Keep up the great work and good luck!

Hold on to your money. Lots of ways to spend it here! ;)

For all the money I know I'll save by vaping instead of smoking, since Sunday, I've bought two vaporizers, 50 ml of juice in three flavors, and an extra clearomizer already. I just want to be able to have a variety of flavors on hand. :) But now that I have two batteries and 3 clearomizers, I think I'll be set up for months once I get another flavor or two. I can buy 10 ml (which will last me about a week) for $6-$7 here, vs $5 a day for smokes. After only 4 days, I'm already branching out into non-tobacco flavors, and loving it.
