Hello and welcome..... Isn't it great how vaping makes it so easy to quit the analogs? Wish I knew about it years ago!!!

Yes. I still can't believe it. I haven't smoked a cig at all and have had no desire to whatsoever. I was worried about my triggers; after eating, drinking and being around people smoking. I have had no desire to even "take a puff" on an analog which I find amazing.

I knew about it years ago. Unfortunately, what I knew about it wasn't all that great. Those I know who tried it wound up back on analogs fairly quickly back then. Plus, they were super expensive. I never had the starting out money for it. Now, in 2013, the price for a pack of Marlboro's in NYC is $12 per pack. Could be up to $14 depending on where you buy them. An ego type battery and clearomizer cost me $15. A bottle of 10ml e liquid cost me $5 something and lasts me about five days. So, that's $20 spent where it would have cost me $60 in cigarettes. I win financially now. It didn't seem I would years ago, when I first heard of them. And it seems that lately there has been a great deal of advancement in the industry, with much more choice and options in general. It all seems doable now, where back then it just wasn't.

Very true. I tried the "cig-a-likes" as well with very limited success. The cost is pretty much a wash compared to smoking. It is very easy to justify the expense of vaping to me when it is about what I spent smoking anyway. The big difference is that I now have mods, tanks, atomizers, batteries etc instead of a bunch of ashes. The gear collection starts adding up surprisingly fast too.
