New Member, long time lurker here.
A little about myself...

Just turned 22 yesterday. Been a smoker for about 5 years. Bought the Blu ecig kit a year ago. Enjoyed it, but got tired of it plus the battery life sucked. Lurked on here and decided to go get a Vision Spinner from my local head shop. It was like $75 for a kit. After I got that I really cut down on smoking for about a month, but I eventually put it away for a while. Been seeing a lot of people with cool mods at my work so I decided to try vaping again, but I'm gonna go all out and get a quality mod so I can enjoy it more. So after some research and watching reviews I was down to either a provari or a REO. Decided to order a black wrinkle REO for my bday with a reomizer. This will be my first legit mod and my first rebuildable. The REO should be here on Monday with the reomizer. I already got juice that I purchased about half a year ago and 2 efest aw imr 18650 2000mah batteries with a charger. So I think I'll be ready to vape after work on Monday. Anyway, enough about me.

Does anyone have any advice for me concerning juice, the REO, or rebuildables?

Here are the juices I've tried
Heathers heavenly vapes (I enjoyed the crack berry and the dragons fire a lot)

Aroma ejuice(beetlejuice and Nuport)

Vape Dudes

Johnson Creek

Wicked Vapor (bluberry)

The vendor I liked the most was Heathers heavenly vapes because I thought the flavor was so quality and so complex. Any quality vendors that have complexities to their juice? I've heard AVE was good...

First off, welcome!
Like you i started with blu and then went with a "starter kit" but you really do need to kind of splurge on something nicer to really enjoy vaping, imo. there are a lot of people who are perfectly fine with starter kits and that is awesome. the guy who got me into vaping has a reo and loves it, i hope you have the same experience he did with it.

as far as juices, you just gotta go with what you think you'll like. i'd recommend buying in small amounts first, kind of like a sampler pack so to speak. 5-10ml bottles and if you like that juice by all means get more! i like to browse the juice threads and see where other people are getting their juices from also, although its nice that my wife makes her own juices :D

ETA: give ahlusion a shot for some juices. lemon creme is by far the best juice ive ever had

I'm new to this forum and I can't figure out how to ask my own question so if I'm doing this wrong, please let me know how to go about starting a new question. Ok, I'm a long time heavy vapor and have tried several batteries and mods.
I have the Sigelei Zmax v5 and need some advice. I've used a PT3 and now an Iclear 30S with it and am running into a problem. I set my Voltage to 5.4 (which is perfect for the dual coils but when I go to vape, it defaults to 4.8 and goes even lower the longer I vape as the battery drains. I've tried RMS and MEAN but still can't vape on my preferred voltage! Any help/ explanations or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

$75 for a spinner kit.... yeah that's high.

I would definitely get some new juice and not use anything you've had sitting for 2 years, that could be quite nasty.

Good luck!! Keep a positive attitude. The thing that worked for me was that I actually enjoyed vaping, so quitting cigs became easy. But of course you gotta find juices that you like to be able to enjoy it. You may go through some bad ones, but you'll find some you like and hopefully some you like a lot. Play with the settings too and find what temperature you like. I started with tobacco flavors and liked them hot. I don't even like tobacco flavors anymore, mainly moved to fruit type flavors which typically taste burnt if the setting is too high. I typically vape at about 7-8 watts. It's all in experimenting and finding what works for you. A juice one person swears by and loves my not be one you enjoy and vice versa. But there are so many different flavors you will find some if not many that you enjoy.

Glad to see you're giving it another go and committing to quit the cigs though! Keep with it and don't get discouraged.

Not sure about your devices. May need to check your resistance of your coils. I know they make 1.5 ohm coils and 2 ohm. If you're running 1.5ohms and setting it to 5.4v that's going to put your Amps over 3 and your device may be limited and therefore reverting to a lower setting. I know if I have lower ohm coils (still above 1ohm of course) on my MVP it does some weird things with the settings.

Just a shot in the dark, I may be completely off.

Are you sure it's not simply telling you the voltage of your battery? It drops as you use it and when it gets low, you need to recharge it. Most devices stay at the voltage you set it at, but the only way to know if it's delivering that voltage is to use a meter on it. So if you set it at 5.4 it always shows 5.4 regardless of the battery level.
