hi all, beatnik69 , steve , just stumbled upon this forum , 35 years committed roll up smoker 30/40 a day. Not touched tobacco 1 month tomorrow, not really missed it, much to my surprise , and its all due to vaping. I still cannot settle to any particular flavour, and have been buying juice and mods like a pro! Most of the day virginia with a few drips of apple will do the trick, but boredom does become an issue.Anyhow i will be looking for news of tobacco taste juice that actually taste good as i (like many of you) would like to stay on one type of juice to satisfy permanently.. sorry i can ramble on for hours... just to say hi all from bristol uk

Hi there beatnik69!

I lived in Bristle for 6 years. Loved it.

I have to say I couldn't stand any of the tobacco based flavours (maybe I tried some duff ones), but since then have gone down the fruit/dessert route and have never looked back. love red bull, rhubarb and custard, grape, bubblegum. I did try RY4, supposedly the most popular tobacco juice, thought it was better than the others but still didn't like it very much.

Anyways, I am a newbie here too. Nice to hear from you!

Welcome aboard, Steve and Julio! Congrats on the switch - and on finding out, like so many of us, how effective and pleasurable vaping can be to get off the cigs :)

I wouldn't worry too much about finding and ADV (All Day Vape). For many of us, changing flavors throughout the day is "normal." Hence the array of toppers we seem to acquire

I typically have several going, some tobaccoish, many not. You might look into some of the "french vanilla tobacco" flavors, as they can be pretty tasty (well, to me!) and reminiscent, but you're probably not going to find a flavor that's exactly like a cig. But don't limit to just that niche, there's lots of fun to be had in different flavors.

Welcome to the forum, beatnik! Congratulations on one month smoke free! I use a semi tobacco flavor called Virus from Nicoticket. It's been my ADV for some time now. One thing about any flavor, it can be your ADV, but your taste buds can all of a sudden to an about face and it won't do it anymore. That's why I rotate flavors and even go unflavored a bunch to help reset the taste buds. If I were you, I'd find 2 or 3 flavors at least that you are happy with and just rotate them.

Welcome! I started with tobacco flavors, like most here did. I eventually tired of them and never really found one that taste like a cigarette.

Then I read something on a blog that made sense to me, "if you can have nicotine in any flavor you wanted, why would you choose burning tobacco?" I have since discovered the multitude of flavors available to us. I am hooked on berry flavors. I use four different flavors each day to prevent them from becoming boring.

Again, welcome and enjoy!

Hi Steve, forum newbie here too!

I've been vaping around 18 months, never looked back. I started with tobacco varieties but DIY juices now, it's fun and a whole lot cheaper than buying small bottles of pre-made. I have various fruits / mints / menthol and experiment with blending, but I mostly just reach for the good old vanilla for an all day vape.

to ecf beatnik69 . So glad you are here. Congrats on the one month and I remember how proud I was. I had no idea vaping was going to replace a 40 some year habit for me. I am still amazed even after my first year. Continued success to you and happy vaping. Let ecf know if you have any questions..... always some wonderful people here to help.

Hi Steve! Welcome to ECF! I also enjoy Virginia flavor, and yep apple is great in it! I get my Virginia ejuice from MyFreedomSmokes, their PG blend because it's got great throat hit even at 6mg, but I mix a couple things into it, to make it REALLY shine: about 6% "Oak Barrel Cider" pipe sauce, which gives a TRULY apple flavor, but on the tart rather than sweet side, and about 3% Cinnamon Redhot; so far I've been using the Cinnamon Redhot from Killer-Juice, as theirs isn't so cloyingly-sweet. Since the juice is still 91% Virginia, the added flavors are just hints, but hints that complement the hints already present in the Virginia.

I'm starting to experiment with making my own ejuice, so I've been trying out adding some "Apple" I made, using FlavourArt Apple flavoring; it's also more on the tart than sweet side. And some Cinnamon redhot I made, using "Signature" brand Cinnamon Redhot flavoring; got both of those flavors at ecigexpress.com. I'm still working on trying to make a Virginia flavor I like, but I think I'm getting closer, using "Tobacco Express" flavor "Golden Virginia." It's not bad, but it's still steeping; hopefully it will turn out even better after some time.

Andria
