Figured id say hi. Been vaping at min a year or so now. Started with a ego and kanger protank 2 then went into drips rather soon. Just ordered an ipv3 vr 150 this morning. It was a toss up with thw ipv3 or sigelei 100 w plus. I figured for when i drip id rather be able to go down to .1 ohm even though i wont use the touch sensor when the firm ware update is avaiable. And doubt ill use the full 165 watts when i do update the firm ware as well. I do have a question. The vr150 ipv. Is it a limited run on this, i have found only a small amount of info on it. And also has an anyone had any issues wiyh firmware updates?

Welcome to ECF!! I don't follow the super high watt models as much, but the search function and sub-forums will talk much on the IPV3. Prolly search for firmware.

welcome to the ECF. and you are right, just because something WILL do something it doesn't mean you SHOULD do it. i never run a coil under .35 ohms. best of luck.

Most of my coils are anywhere around .15 to about .4. Depends on what i have. In the mefesto v2 i have a .12 parrel 24ga. In the little boy i have a 4 strands of twisted 28 sjngle coil at .37 that hit flavor just right even for that atty. And plume veil has same set up jn it as the little boy but i think im gaoing to mess around today with another twisted 26 ga coil.

I know of 2 units that bricked when upgraded.....


I would not load the first upgrade.....I would wait till another version came out (if)


you'll love that unit as is when it arrives....Save yourself some trouble!
