Best build for what?
Without knowing your answer I'd probably start with something simple like the 7 to 8 wraps of SS 24 g looking for 0.25 ohms on a dual stretched coil. It's all a matter of preference though, and always check your build with the coil calculator and test it after installation.

Welcome! Also, what batteries will you be using. I think the Cricket is unregulated (i.e. mechanical?) You will need to keep the build within the capabilities of the batteries and should have a married pair. It's a series mod, so your voltage range will be higher, but current draw still to the equivalent of one battery. The 0.25ohm build sounds safe enough - I personally don't like building any lower for any mod, but that's just me.
