I would like to know why I cannot post new threads in the New Member's Section.

I recently received a warning for a drug reference in one of my comments so I am thinking that may be the reason.

Is it because of the amount of posts I have made total or is it because of the warning?

It isn't you. After something like 75 posts, no one is allowed to start a thread in new members. You can always answer there, though.

Once you reach 70 posts, you can no longer start a new thread in the New Member forum. In other words, you've been promoted.
