New members info

Hi, I thought that I would start contributing on these forums, so I put up a review of the Vladdin RE Pod Kit. The review is goo, except none of the images are showing? I assume this is because I am a new member or have done something else wrong. I did look at the New Members Info page and a lot of the restrictions for new members are scored so I thought it would be OK!

This is from the rules:
Please note that IT CAN TAKE UP TO AN HOUR for the forum software to update your account when reaching Full Member status. This means that you may have to wait a short time after reaching 5 posts, before it becomes possible to post in other forums, use Private Messages or have a Signature.

0 to 5 posts:
New Member.
Cannot post live links. (In order to post a link, just put spaces in it like this: www. example .com)
Cannot use Private Messaging (PMs).
Cannot have a signature.
Cannot post images (photos) if linked to on another site.

After 5 posts:
Full member.
Members can post in all open forums, use Private Messaging, and can have a signature.
Note that some forums are private: access is for special membership categories.

Perhaps it will just take some time to register with the system.

You could be right, but I will be around so it shouldn't take long! I've been vaping almost 7 years now an haven't touched a single cigarette since day 1. How about yourself?

Good job. I've been vaping about 4 years, but just early this year completely quit cigs. Did well over the first few years but stress smoked now and then.

I don't judge buddy, everyone has there own way and I fully understand stress smoking having tried many times to give up the stinkies. If vaping has led to you smoking fewer cigarettes then that's a win an day of the week. You're doing absolutely fine.

You may have found a form of old membership rules which may differ from the latest *New Members Rules. Hang in there, rules locations can become confusing. The main thing I try to remember is do not do or write anything that would be discourteous to a member or the owner of the sight.

Thanks BrotherBob, I think the section about linking to an offsite blog is relevant to me but unfortunately the link to request permission is not pointing to the right location. At least I know what I have to do now hopefully.

Welcome and it could be a problem with your picture browser and whether you are uploading directly and/or using a hosting site.

Also depends on the phases of the moon. Etc.

I fixed the photo issue, it didn't like the link format for Google photos. Used imgur and problem solved!
