Hey guys... Ok, so this is all I've got so far but I'm working on it with a manufacturer right now. I'm thinking it'll have a thumb button on the "top" where the atomizer would usually be, and have an offset atomizer right off the side. Should be prettty ergonomic. My rough sketch shows a knurled thumb screw on the atomizer tube- this would be for airflow adjustment..I love the idea but waiting to hear back on cost.

Behold my terrible sketch and imagine how much better the real thing is going to look.

Any thoughts on the offset atomizer and switch placement?

Yeah, actually came across that one the other day and it is similar to what I'm going for but mine will have a more silver bullet look and feel to it, the GLV reminds me of those aluminum LED flashlights a bit too much.. Hats off to AltSmoke and Chad for coming out with the SB- it's a brilliantly made and well constructed device but gotta add some V9 flare to it and see what we come up with.. I'm messing around with potentiometers and so forth to see if its feasible to make it adjustable voltage.. I've taken far too long to get going on my mod but once it's ready there wont be anything as flexible out there. :D

Yeah, that's JFK customs and the other ones are for an aftermarket car parts store in California.. Heh..

I know you guys are impressed with my drawing skills. HA..

I think that'd be pretty sweet Grimm, having the LED- but the ember part is actually a thumb screw that you can adjust the draw with. I have a custom paintball gun builder working on it. Wont divulge much but these guys are LEGENDS in paintball and though I don't play anymore I always appreciated their craftsmanship and ingenuity. Thought they'd be a good choice to do the design and the adjustable draw deal as they're good with pneumatics and air and all that sort of thing :D

What do you think of the thumb switch facing the mouth end like that, and the offset atomizer tube with the thumb screw? I liked it because it seems ergonomic and reminds me of a detonator..Haha..

Another thought was to have atomizer threads on the end cap like the Silver Bullet and most others, and have the thumb screw recessed a bit opposite the thumb switch. on the side.

The adjustable draw isn't a sure thing yet.. Need to balance the cost with the benefit and so forth. Maybe we'll offer both of em, with the adjustable costing a bit more..

I wish someone would come up with a stick-like device. Take the JSV3 basic concept, switch the battery cover to a captive sliding cover that pushes the battery down to make electrical contact (gets rid of the prone to failure electrical switch) and wrap the whole thing in a metal or plastic one-piece side-by-side. Having bits and tubes hanging off the device makes them bigger than they need to be and not very pocket friendly. Keeping the USB charger functionality would be critical though.
