Hi David,
I am the girl mailing you the 1000 questions. Thank you for yoyr quick and patient replies.
I narrowed it down to the P16 or the P18350.
I had asked you in my last mail if I should go with the P16 or 18; you recommended the P16 since I did tell you I have rather small hands.
Since the P18350 is almost the same size but seems to get better battery life, I hope you agree that this would be the perfect match.
Only problem is that you seem to be sold out.
Any idea when the P18350 will be back in stock. I couldn't even click on the cart icon, hence I assume the model is sold out.
Was hoping to order tonight. Thank you again Dave for your outstanding service as well as products.
Julia

Hi All,
After looking at many, many mods, I think I've decided on a P+18500, I plan on buying it with some AW high drain batts when it comes out, and then adding the kick and 18350 batts when it comes out. A couple questions: 1) is the 18500 a fairly small unit which packs a decent punch, size comparison to other mods would be great, and/or pics too? 2) when will it be available again?

1. Sorry, but I don't have any other mods with which to compare the P+ 18500. I can tell you that I have had the P+ next to a GGTS sized for an identical IMR 18490 battery, and it was like a Mini Cooper parked next to a Cadillac.

2. Cloud 9 Vaping has the P+18500 in stock if you don't feel like waiting. Otherwise, David mentioned he intends to have more Precise Pluses ready by mid December.

Vaporologist, thank you aw well, nice pic, especially since I had it down to the provari and the 18500 as the last two to decide between. But how is the punch on it? And with the Kick that will be coming out, will I be able to dial that in to say, 4.2, which many say is a sweet spot for dual coil clear cartos?

IMO and opinion of many other users, P+ hits harder and more consistently than other all-mechanical PVs with the same battery. David actually did a load test which revealed that the P+ hit harder by holding the loaded voltage 0.2V higher... With the Kick, you will be able to set your desired wattage and not have to worry about ohms and voltage. For me, P+500 with the Kick should be the ultimate vaping experience.

Vaporologist, thank you for confirming what I thought to be true, I will definitely be ordering both the 18500 and the Kick as they become available. I'd order from Cloud9 but I don't feel like dealing with shipping from Europe/customs.

Sounds great Jonner... I think you will be quite pleased with your decision :thumb:

Btw, congrats on your ECF Veteran status :)

The P+50 with the Kick sounds like it's going to be great. I already have 4 precise, but I'll probably still get that set up when it becomes available. And just the P+ with out the Kick is a noticeable improvement in strength over the older mods.

And three days until I finally hit Veteran, lol.

Jonner, assuming you mean 4.2volts across a 1.5 ohm atty, that is going to translate to about 11.75watts. Unfortunately, the Kick will probably top out at about 10watts. If you *really* want to vape that hot, you're probably going to need a Darwin. Just for the record, a lot of people want the kick to be able to go to 12watts. I seriously doubt that is going to happen because most batteries (even the venerable AW IMR series) just aren't capable of it or the battery life will be so short it won't be practical since the current draw on a Kick will be more than 3 amps. True, it looks like 2.8amps on paper but, you have to allow for inevitable losses. However, you will probably find that 10watts is plenty for most vapers. I rarely use my Darwin over 8 watts or so.

If you do your research, you will discover why the Darwin uses Lithium Polymer batteries. The short answer is that they store more energy in a given volume and they are good hi-drain cells.
