Psst, Vapenw has it in stock now. First US store that I've seen.

Really odd that there are still almost no youtube reviews for this...but I ordered one and am taking a chance. Hoping it isn't a dud. I just can't think of a reason why Aspire wouldn't send out early tanks for review. Crossing fingers.

Nice... I've always liked the Aspire tanks.. Keep us posted after it arrives.

Here is a direct link to the tank for those interested. $30 and in-stock.

Never ordered from them before so I can't comment on the vendor.

I got it today, and have some quick impressions. In short, it's a Nautilus 2, but with the new topfill method. So if anyone liked that tank, but hated unscrewing it every time to refill, I think you'll be happy. I honestly can't tell any difference in performance. I guess that's a good improvement, hence the S, like an apple phone slight upgrade.

Some detailed thoughts:

-No leaking, so far, but too early to tell if that will carry over.

-Its a bit over-engineered for my liking, and I feel like they could have just made the glass and shell one piece. To the point, I think it's a bit few too many steps to put together for some brand new vapor.

-For those that like that metal drip tip, I think you'll like it. It's actually really nice, and improves the throat hit compared to the original shorter N2 tip that I'm mainly using. Not sure why, but something about that longer tip does improve it. It's a bummer since I don't like metal in my mouth, but if that doesn't bother you, you'll dig it.

-Once you unscrew the top, which then allows you to slide open it- it's pretty firm. Not too firm, but I feel like the whole unscrewing thing is another reason I mention over-engineering. Seems like it could have been made more simple with just a slide. But it works well, and I bet I'll get used to it.

-A couple little annoyances have come up with the airflow ring; on the original Pico (which it does fit on) it doesn't seem to sit down quite tight enough all the time, and gets slightly misaligned.. Because of that, the airflow ring leaves a tiny slit/gap above it. Hard to explain, but since I like such a tight draw at the smallest hole, that slight gab sort of kills it, and I have to adjust it. But it may just be my tank, or the Pico, since I just slapped it on a mini mod and it's fine on here. So just an fyi to watch out for.

-I'll eventually try out the subohm coil, but not anytime soon, I'll defer to some other brave soul to try that ;)

Can't think of anything else at the moment, but will update as I do. Overall, a good upgrade for those that don't mind some tinkering.

I'm not a fan of metal drip tips myself. I see that it is removeable. Would a replaceable 510 delrin drip tip fit?

Pretty sure all the extra business to fill is for child-proofing purposes.

Have you used the Zenith, @drysprocket? If so, how does the Nautilus 2S compare?

Yeah, I have a couple Zenith's and I really love em overall, except that the airflow doesn't get as tight as on the Naut2S. But since I like a super tight airflow, I see a use for this. But if you like the airflow on the Zenith, I can't imagine a reason for getting this one. The topfill, coil change, flavor...pretty much everything else about the Zenith is superior.

Yeah, any other 510 drip tip fits, so the metal tip is not a big deal. I only bring it up because that longer tip does seem to pair really well with this, and somehow helps the throat hit.

Interesting observation. Back in the day, I used longer drip tips to give a smoother and cooler vape on my Genesis-style AGA-T tanks.

In that case, I'd be getting it for its looks alone. Not a good enough reason, unless a great sale eventually crosses my path.

It's awfully cute, though.

Tonight's the night - well, hopefully it is.

I think the coil change trick is for the TPD version, which I should end up with. Tonight.

Ah didn't realise that. I ordered the non TPD version which arrived today, am vaping it now. Took me a little while to work out how to do the refill as it wasn't as obvious as I thought (that could just be me though). Just annoyed the coil change is still a pain on the non TPD version.

Anyway initial impressions - air flow when using just the air holes like the Nautilus 2, the draw is a little more retrictive. However I like quite a airy vape so have been using the 0.4 coil with the air slot, two thirds of the way open. It's a similar vape to the N2 on the 0.7.

In conclusion - still not as easy to use as a Zenith but a step in the direction. For me the taste is better than the Zenith but I know alot of people including my partner would disagree!!

Keeping it short as others have done the hard work.

I'm enjoying the 2S. It feels more substantial than the N2, but it's probably just heavier. Breaking in the 1.8 ohm coil at 6 watts on the smallest airflow, and it's very good indeed. Nothing new, really, but that's fine.

If you like a looser MTL, this will do it, but if you're after cheek-collapsing tight, it's dependably good. Although the mouthpiece is a nice shape, I (also) wish it weren't metal.

If you like your N2, this won't change things much - it's just easier to work with. Note that it's a 23mm tank.

Happy Out!

Do the Nautilus 2S tank has double capacity, or it is 2 ml native?

If it is dual capacity, how do the capacity switch works. By mean of restrictive glass?

Thanks...
So mine is the non TPD version and that's a 2.8ml tank. The TPD version is a 2ml tank. As far as I am aware there isn't a switchable version.

On the 0.4 coils it is getting through juice pretty quick although I am off work so that may be why!

Thanks for the reply.

I read that capacity of the new Nautilus is decreased by mean of a thicker glass.

In same cases (Cleito Pro, TFV12 Prince Baby are two good examples) these TPD adaptations, made of polycarbonate, ends up with a problematic 2 ml tank, because they overheat excessively, and have limitations on the types of eliquids usable.
