Thanks, RB. I got out a magnifying glass and an Ott Light and peered down into the two respective spares, and looked at the imprinted info, and now understand what I got :)

A lot of discussion about cleaning... my instinct is to soak them in isopropyl alcohol, not Vodka, just because it's cheaper and I don't keep Vodka around. What is the reason for using more expensive Vodka? Because it is "food grade"? Wouldn't any alcohol evaporate fairly quickly?

I've soaked old coils in water and then dried them. Have not tried resuing them yet, until I learned more about maybe better methods of cleaning.

I soaked one in isopropyl and then let it sit in hot water and then dried it thoroughly. To be honest, it lasted a few more days, then I still had to replace it. I'm getting on average a good two weeks out of coil. That's much less than the cost of one pack of cigarettes, so I'm just throwing them when they're done and popping in a new one. It's far simpler for me.

The only reason I use the Vodka is that I bought some really cheap Vodka over a year ago when I started vaping and read here that most people used Vodka to soak their Kanger coils. I bought a really BIG bottle of cheap vodka and still have some left. :)

Still enjoying BVCs in a full size.
5.3V with the 1.8 (tests at 2.0 ohms)

I make either 17ml or 25ml of my DIY and finish the bottle before washing a BVC in hot water as I did with my PT coils.
I give them a soak in isopropyl for a couple of hours before washing them.
Put in cup, turbulate with HOT water from handheld, soak, repeat a few times, shake & blow out, dry for a couple of days.
I did keep one going on another bottle of a similar flavor without washing the coil but it started tasting dull after about 35-40ml.
Washed it, gave it a quick dry-burn and within a ml it was back to tasty.

I highly recommend the BVC coils in a full size Naughty :thumb:

EDIT - When I say dry burn I mean instant. less than a second. As soon as I see the glow I'm done.
