Hello everyone! glad to be a part of the vaping family! I got a great deal on SE for the 1.0s, put SE upgraded me to the newest 3,0 gold edition for no extra charge! Ive been vaping all day, its so awesome. Anyway, I have a question. When I change a cartridge for the first few puffs I get some of the liquid in my mouth. Is this normal? or am I doing something wrong? Thanks guys!

Glad to see you are enjoying it X--it is normal with some of those prefilled carts--just hold the e-cig downward and you sould not have an issue--consider buying your one e-liquid and fillling your own cartridge---enjoy--Sun
Yes, it is a pretty normal thing for prefilled carts to be a little overfilled and that can cause liquid to get through to your mouth.

and to vapingsame thing happened to me when I first got my SE Gold (also happens now, two months later, from time to time). Leaking eLiquid is usually the result of an overfilled cartridge. Angling the ecig with batt downward is helpful, but if the problem persists, do what I did... Take the cartridge out of the atomizer, put it to your lips with the mouthhole facing outwards and blow into a tissue or paper towel. Yes, you will get eLiquid on your lips (my suggestion is to not swallow, as it can cause hiccups), but you should blow the the eLiquid that is not held in the cartridge's core out the hole.

I have the same problem with my se gold. I keep a tissue handy and spit that juice out.
I paid 150.00 at the mall for mine. Ran batteries back twice for exchange.
I did a search on line and cheapest price I found is at Amazon.com
Just checked and it's 64.95 with free shipping.
The main company site has a deal if you call them they sell the prefilled carts cheaper.
They send once a month and you get charged on your credit card.
If you buy 7 boxes a month through the main company I think it's around 70 cents a piece per cart rather than 2 dollars. I'm ordering some empty carts from a different company and am going to see if that will work out for me. If not I'll be buying on the monthly plan and just dripping e juice on the prefilled ones to get more bang for my buck.

The SE GOLD is better known around these parts as an RN4081. I would suggest shopping for RN4081 parts and carts rather than buying from SE who does overcharge quite a bit for their stuff.
Also the SE GOLD performs better if you forgo the cart filling entirely and just drip liquid on the atomizer coil (do not use more than 2 or 3 drops each time you drip).

Hey i have the Rn4081 also love it haven't had any real problems in the month i've had it, i the starter kit from amazon for 64.00. I did break an atomizer but that was my fault. I still need to find a good site that actually has some in stock for a reasonable price.
