I would post this in the Modern Vapor forum, but I can't post there quite yet (if I remember correctly the magic number is 3, which this is); but this forum has been good to me anyway, so it's a moot point.
Anyway: I bought one of the new 'smart' PCC's for my Modern Vapor Sidesho (510) because my older model seems to be approaching the skids--I'm not calling it a 'dumb' PCC because I may need to reserve that term for new model. My question is whether anyone here knows whether the blue backlog LED is supposed to turn off when the case is done charging, like the way that the light on the old PCC would do? Also, is there a way to make the red backlight which shows while charging a battery stay lit until it changes to blue, indicating a full charge?
Although it is a nice case, I think that it is more of a dumb case than a smart case, because it was actually a more convenient setup when all you had to do was look at the case and see whether the light was on or not, rather than having to push a button, to know your battery's status. Also, it was nice just pushing a battery in rather than having to screw it in to be charged. Such is life though; I just hope it has a longer life than my previous PCC.
