As you didn't remove the cap/adapter for the 801 in the video, we can only guess...with the adjustable draw (very nice, have been waiting for someone to do this), does that mean the battery compartment is *not* sealed? Or is it sealed further down the endcap, allowing dripping without worries of filling the battery compartment?

Battery chamber is sealed from the atomizer and from the air flow passage, no liquid can flow into the battery compartment, nor can any battery gases flow up to the atomizer.

Dave, This is probably the best designed battery mod I've seen. My only questions are: Can it take a protected battery? Will you be crafting each one yourself? and When do you think it will be for sale?

Yes, it was designed around the protected 16340 style battery. I use the ultra fire rated at 880mah. Yes, they are currently all hand crafted by me. I may consider contracting out some of the work if the need arises as i will still do the finish machining and assembly which allows me quality control over the product and saves a lot of time.

Well, don't see what could possibly go wrong with it... no solder, over engineered parts, solid construction... I am giddy with anticipation.. not sure if i will even vape with it... may just be a show piece for me.
