I was just wondering if anyone else is having problems with the new premium carts.
The first problem i am having is with my favorite juice Halo.I have filled up a blank cart , used the taryn twirl , gotten it completely full Took about 20 drags and burnt taste, I know this is because the juice is thick.I seems like in an effort to hold more juice they have added more filler to the point that it is so tight that with thicker e juice it wont even wick. I am all for moving forward , but i don't want it at the cost of having to thin down my e juice..

But the bigger issue is cleaning , I have tried everything! once you rinse them I seems like you can never get all the water out , i have left some sitting for up to 4 days and they are still wet. I have even tried baking them for a little while. still no success.
And when they finally get dry enough to use , they don't seem to work right>

They only way they have worked right for me is to keep refilling with thinner juice , about four times , then i just toss them .
On the supplier side of things this is a great situation, you keep buying new carts and you think , hey these work better on their juice , so i should just buy more juice from them... I WANT THE OPTION TO BUY THE OLDER STYLE EMTY CARTS, THEY ARE EASIER TO CLEAN AND I GET MORE USE OUT OF THEM, GETTING AN EXTRA 5 TO 8 DROPS IN A CART TO ME ISN'T WORTH IT.

Your not getting my point , my main issue is that , in my opinion these aren't better they are different, and i want to keep the option, to use the older style. I don't want to see them phased out.It is like the v4l batteries they have kept changing them , and the cartomizers with them I f you use a new premium v4l cartomizer with a kanger kr808d-1 the draw is to stiff like a milkshake , If you use a newer v4l battery it is fine , they keep changing things , If you use a older cart on a newer batterie on a older cart it's like sucking air, If you want to stick with them as a supplier , you have to constantly upgrade, it's Like you order a new battery because one is bad then you put it on one of your many cartomizers you have around , then you notice wow this battery isn't doing it , maybe i should try some premium carts? then you get the premium carts , which have been redisigned with a smaller air hole and you go wow this is great , i guess i better throw all my blanks away and get new one's these are so much better> But what about people that stock up on stuff and have maybe 50 blank carts , and there batteries go bad, Im just saying that if they want to keep improving things they should have a disclaimer that says, these are newer style cartomizers , and work better with the newer style batteries. If your like me you don't just have 1 battery, and a box of 5 cartomizer's . I am just dissapionted all around . In my opinion the chinese invented this thing , and all the u.s. suppliers try to go over there and improve it , they should just leave it to the inventor's , or come up with their own, start there own manufacture in the u.s. and maybe put some people back to work, But they can get the stuff from china for less than a third than they sell it for .

i think its better to progress rather stay the same. This is still a new product with new discoveries coming around every corner. I want the progress to continue until we get the perfect vape. I do understand your viewpoint and it is understandably frustrating when things change and don't work, but that is the price you and all of us have to pay for a better product.

I have old and new batteries and I have old and new cartos. I use all of them in any configuration and have no problems with draw. I find all of V4L's equipment to be compatible with each other tho I do not own any generic KR8 equipment. Are you sure all of your equipment is cleaned?

Another note is that the new cartos do run hotter and you can't vape non-stop off of them like you can the old cartos. Just let them cool down and the burnt taste will go away. Personally the new cartos give harder hits so I find that I'm not hitting the PV as much anyways.

Also, IME 4 days was never enough for the old cartos to be dry after washing them. I let cartos dry for 2 weeks before refilling and have had no issues with the newer cartos still being wet after 2 weeks.

I've had lots of issues with premature burning of pre filled cartomizers. I don't refill...I just vape till it burns, which is when it is about half way done. Then toss it.

I think they need to resolve this issues with a higher ohm rating. But i don't see that happening...so I'll just deal with it because I like their flavors.

I see what they did they lowered the ohms, the standard batteries put out a true 3.7 unlike the joye 510 it puts out about 3.0 to 3.1 and 510 cartomizers come at 2.7 ohms just like a joye 510 atty , i did a measurement of a fresh old style standard cartomizer and it checked in between 3.2 to 3.4 ohms , the premium tested at 2.6 to 2.7 so they lowered the resistance. this is also the reason my batteries aren't lasting as long , and the decrease in flavor, it does produce more vapor than the old ones , but with the type of filler they have in there , i wouldn't be suprised if we see a lot more burnt cartomizers , they should have went the other way and bumped it up to about 3.5 ohms , that would have resulted in a better flavor producing cart , with less burning.

I am not trying to bag on V4L , it's just my opinion . i think they took a step backwards, The first e cig i had was a dse901 and all i remember was how good all the flavors i had taste .The whole high voltage experience is not for me . When you take a battery that is putting out 3.7 volts and throw a 2.7 ohm cartomizer on it is almost like high voltage , you get more vapor but you loose a lot of flavor , and have any of you have took apart a cartomizer , well the material in there almost looks like cotton , and cotton is not something i want to smoke, I hate the burnt cartomizer taste , anything that taste that bad can't be good for you . I have a couple of auto kr808d-1 batteries , so i think i will just have to go back to modified greencig carts, these run much cooler and you can't kill them, and if you modify them , (cut them down, remove inner cart replace with 901 whistle tip ) they wick all the juice and you never get a burnt taste. so it looks like i will take a step back .

I hear ya JB and you're opinions are valid.

The thing about vaping (IMHO) is it's still a young industry and very personal. The folks at V4L are growing like crazy and trying to improve. As with any new technology the early adopters (us) are forging the path for the future. Remember 5 1/4" Floppy disks? Pac Man?

We have not seen the last of the innovations from Steve and the gang fortunately they do look at these forums and pay attention to what we have to say. As always, you have to so what makes you happy.

I enjoy the flavors and the tons of vapor so I'll keep using these guys and letting them know what I think. That's not to say that I don't do a little tinkering on my own.

I hate this serious stuff. I'm going back to being a smarta**.

I love the flavor from the new carts. I do notice that with these I can only fill them and then refill once. After that they seem to sludge up and not work well. The old ones would refill many times before they needed cleaning.

To get the carts dry after cleaning I use an air compressor set at 15 psi and blow them out from the mouthpiece end. This seems to get them pretty dry immediately. If you want them completely dry, you'll still have to let them sit a couple of weeks.
