New prodigy v3.1 6v user and dripping methods requested !

Hi there, My background is simple i am a 20 a day b and h silver smoker, and after some research and thought i opted for the prodigy v3.1 e cigarette. Initially like many i wanted to vape something which looked like a normal cigarette but then decided this is the new me so no resemblance at all might be best, plus the ongoing user reports of a great vapor made my decision easier. So i have just received the prodigy v3.1 6v media blasted full kit from cloud 9. After a few teething problems i have got this thing firing and initial impressions are this may just be the one thing that could potentially save my life. I am however very confused on a number of factors regarding the e liquid. The e liquid i have is the ry4 26mg and the sample pack of e liquid flavors. From reading the online manual i have opted for the direct dripping onto the atomiser method. However the amount of drops to use is where my confusion lies. So far i have dripped between 3-5 of the ry4 (nicotine) plus an additional 3 drops of one of the flavors. Is this deemed safe or am i wasting my e liquid. I am sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but i have looked around and why there are not instructions detailing exactly what to do is baffling. Please can someone help..

There are no exact instructions. It depends on your battery and your atomizer etc.

And I am no expert

You need an atomizer that no longer has primer on it.

If the atomizer is totally dry (like if you cleaned and dried it) then add a couple of additional drops and wait longer for them to soak down to the coil

Use a drip tip

With an atty that is blown out of old liquid but not bone dry, I add 3-4 drops, wait for that to soak down, then I try vaping it

If it's too much liquid it won't get warm and may leak into the threaded connection. Blow it out, clean up any leaks, try again with 1 fewer drops

When the vapor starts to get weak, I add 2 more drops

For a fresh atomizer, blow out the primer first. Drip 5-6 drops into it and let sit for 10 minutes. Screw it on and vape it for a couple of draws. Now add 3 more drops. Vape until you notice flavor loss or a slight metal taste. You picked my favorite all mechanical mod. Awesome PV at 6V.

Thanks guys, I am still a little confused though. I am using separate flavour and nicotine, so how many drops of each should I use? I started this last night, using 4 drops of nicotine (RY4) and 6 drops of flavour, but have woken this morning feeling like I smoked 5 packs! Is that because I have been using too much?
