Thanks Swipple, glad you are enjoying the new additions. Whoot

The battery terminal connector changed awhile ago, atomizer adapter changed slightly, and we are using a new transistor which turns on harder, all of these changes have improved the vapor production/hit that you notice. :)

Nice. More good reasons to justify getting a second one soon :)

Lifetime warranty!?! Holy crap! I was almost going to get a Precise, but I recently tried a bottom button mod... and it just doesn't feel comfortable to use with my tiny pinky. This unit is looking pretty nice.

Just curious... I see on the site it mentions "military electronics". Are any of you Provape guys ex-submariners? I only ask because my husband recently retired, and we spent 15 years in WA while he was stationed at Bangor.

Hey Tlc,

You will like the button on the Provape!

Our electronics engineer was in design/development of torpedo guidance systems and military satellites. Somewhat related :)

Excellent! (Since my hubs was a missle tech) Moving back to Kitsap County in a year, so if I get a Provape, and it happens to fail, I'll just drive my ... to Monroe and hunt you down!

OK, I just couldn't take it anymore, so I placed my order for a maroon one! I researched all the mods until my head hurt, and the provape seems it would be a good fit for me. June 24th was my 1 year mark of no analogs, so this is a reward for myself. IfI was already back in WA, I'd have that thing lickity-split, crap! Let the stalking of the mailman begin.

I have had my ProVape-1 for almost 2 weeks and find it my best Mod to date. Saw a few remarks about V2 but ordered when I did and am very satisfied. Will just have to get another when I can. I posted a review in the review forum last week.

2 minor issues though:
I would love to see the option of SS end cap and atty adapter. The aluminum is OK, but my preference would be for matching ends.
With the 510 adapter, if I overfill the cartomiser when I top it off, the size of the drops bridge the small gap to the reservoir and drip down the side of the unit. I try to be careful not to over fill, but if the gap were just a bit wider then the reservoir would perform its function. This is not an issue with the 901 since the gap is bigger and the adapter sits lower in the well.

Just my $.02 .

This thing has never failed to fire and is built very well indeed. With a LR carto or atty it is a beast.

I am waiting for a few IMR 14500s to see how they perform in this unit.

At Loew's, I found a flashlight that had the perfect belt pouch for the ProVape. It is an Energizer Hardcase Inspection Light for $15. The name is stenciled on the pouch, but it scrapes off. Made of ballistic nylon in black, it has a flap with velcro on the end. Just the right size with a 510 atty or carto with a drip tip on top. I can always use another flashlight and it was worth the price to have the perfect carry solution. I think I saw them at Home Depot as well.

Hey tlc,! You will be happy with the PV-1. No more button thumb from the Protege. I had all of the switch replacements and still had to tinker to get it to work right. The Provape is a much heavier device with a thick SS tube wall, but the threads are beefy and not prone to cross threading like the Protege. I liked mine as well till it was lost, but I do not miss the problems. I did not want to try the Icon with the bottom switch.

Only about 10 days with the ProVape, but it hits every time. The threads are smooth and silky and the button is easy and comfortable to use. The finish on the tube is very smooth feeling and it is the best finished Mod I have seen. Everything snug and tight like it should be. A quality manufactured device.

Yeah, my PV-1 has even brought back some cartos I had written off. very consistent, a world of difference from my eGo. I have already gone through two ego batteries in about 2 months!! I was slowly creeping back to analogs before I found this thing, mate it with some decent cartos and go to work! It does seems to melt my 510 carts on LR atomizers but my eGo also did this rendering them useless.

Provape service is top notch also from Phil and the team!

Hi Garritos! I also have an ego... just recently purchased after getting a little tired of my Protege. I've only had it for about a week, and I have never had the melting problem, but I have to say (for me at least), the cone seems to be more trouble than it's worth. When I change batts and take the cone off, what a liquid mess! I started with a 510, then got a Protege, then the ego and now my pretty red provape is on the way!!:) If I love it, the ego might just end up hitting the road.

As you should be. It's a long time. ;)

Mine will fall on Halloween. So hopefully by then the R/C Helicopter 18650 Mega ProVape with built-in 3g wireless, gps tracking, and universal remote will be ready to go so I will be able to celebrate properly :D :smokie:

That's hilarious! Although, since I started vaping, things have really changed alot. Within a year there have been so many "advancements"... who knows what the next year will bring. Maybe your multi-function mod isn't so far fetched after all!
