It's a 3.7 volt battery so only if you boost it.

Ok I'll show ya how dense I am LOL! The box mod,5 volt, takes 2 of the 14500 3.7 batteries so what effect if any will it have?Longer battery life? What do you mean by "boosting?" Thanks again for your patience....

like any 3.7 batt, you can either use two in series and regulate to 5v, or use one and 'boost' it to 5v. you could also use 2 of these bad boys in parallel for a whopping 8000maH ...
