Have you considered carrying the car adapters that you could use your PT on while driving.

For the 510 it need an output of 5v@1a(1000)..and a regular charger will not let you use a PT with a 510. it usually only has 200 to 400 max output.

There are some car chargers out there at 800, but they won't handle the pull of the 510

I know that the EVO PT works with the USB adapter that I personally use. However I have not tried the 510. I will investigate this further for you!
