I got my anodized tube and brass caps yesterday. They're great. I'm having a problem though. The delrin in the top cap seems to have stripped somehow. The positive contact is now pushing down on the battery and I can't unscrew the button or the top cap. Also I got the flat cap which has a shorter contact with no slot for a screwdriver, so there's no way to unscrew it back up to relieve the tension. Any advice?

As far as the stripped delrin, I'd send an email out about that. You might get sent a free delrin piece.
If the mod seems bound together, you can try rubber/latex gloves or maybe a tea towel for better leverage while unscrewing.
The contact in the flat top cap should have a bit of knurling on it, you could probably gently grab that knurling with pliers and a paper towel to unscrew that. The plastic threading should loosen up a bit over time and Noalox should prevent any other binding that can occur with metal threading.

There's also these little guys you can buy.

hope that helps.

Can you guys fill me in on what the "long pin" (bottom) is for exactly?

I got one with my alumi tube order (along with all the caps etc just to be sure i'd have the full setup)…

i think i read somewhere that somehow it could help with longer batts (ie. some Orbtronic's are longer than AW IMR 650's and cause gaps)

It's to shorten the throw of the switch by about a millimeter. Looks almost identical to the stock top contact pin

Both are correct. I have one Nem setup with both pins and the beauty ring without the kick and it works great. I have one setup without the beauty ring but, with both pins and the longer tube for the kick (works great). I have one setup without the beauty ring (in 350 mode) just to have a super short throw. The others are in other configs but, I am too lazy to check... ;)

Lots of flexibility with both sets of pins and all the rings :)

I fixed it. I used a vacuum cleaner belt wrapped around the button and used pliers to loosen it. Unfortunately, it just happened again. I'll be sending them an email tonight. My guess is it's the threading on the brass ring. It's pretty rough. I need to get a set of those grips asap. Thanks for posting those.

For December and due to Christmass all our orders from tomorrow will have a small present from
The Smile of the Child

“THE SMILE OF THE CHILD”

FOUNDATION AND MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION

“We all know and talk about children on the streets who can't smile. They can't smile because they don't have money, toys, or food and some of them don't even have parents. Just think and leave all the talking behind: let's unite and give whatever we can to poor children, Albanians, white and black. They are all children and deserve a smile. This association will be called: "The Smile of the Child". Let's all come together to help, together we can accomplish it.”
(From founder Andreas’ diary, November 1995)

These words written by 10-year-old Andreas Yannopoulos, while suffering from terminal cancer, expressed his wish to establish an organisation that would protect children irrespective of their color, race, religion, nationality, or socio-economic status. Andreas is no longer with us, but his words continue to inspire us to help children and ensure that each child has a reason to smile.

“The Smile of the Child” was registered as a non-profit, non-governmental organization in January 1996. Since then the Association has expanded to meet the serious problems of children in-need living in Greece. Through its varied services, “The Smile of the Child” protects children’s rights and provides them with emotional and psychological support. Children, who suffer from health problems or any type of abuse, neglect or abandonment, are within the organization’s mandate.

This is just for your info if you see something you havent ordered in your parcel and for spreading also their action!!! :D

A qucik note...I dont wish this to be a large discussion in here about clones...no interested at all for this
Just want to make clear after some reading that i have done in another thread
that our company logo(the train) IS trademarked..it is designed in hand by Michalis and we have made all the procedure for trademark..We took approval and we are only waiting for final papers...People who write may not know that this cannot be done in days but in months...We in time made our papers and paid for trademark and now we are in last steps and will have all legal papers for that..
Of course not more we can do to china but believe me there are more we can do to clone sellers...
Also any other logo used are legally used after an aggreement or taken from an open source..We are not graphists so the only logo that has to be trademarked is our company logo which indeed IS.
As i wrote this is not a beginning of clone discussion here but hopefully an answer to people that 'know' we havent tredemarked our logo...

Serious break is over....
Have a nice day all...:)

Spoken like a Boss. Big fan of your work. Keep the train chugging.

hm... just bought nem #5 and another dome (this one for my 69) which is kind of ironic since I gave 2 of them away to get to a more manageable number... oh well...

had to fight the urge to buy Loki tank #3 and 69 #3... but, I did get another drip tip and some more magnets.

Now I just need 2 3Ds... :)

I swear I'm not addicted... I can stop any time... Honest :D

also, for whomever is interested, there is a Celeste in the classies for what they cost to get (no markup is a good thing). it is unused... the seller doesn't like that the blue has a bit of purple in it (which I quite liked in mine actually) and one poster claims it is a Terra (which is more dark brown with a hint of maroon... not blue but, whatever).

if I didn't already have one, I would have snagged it.
