In the market for a new regulated device. most likely 18650 or dual form factor. TC optional Saw the Aegis and seemed to like it but there are countless others I could list lol. So pics and personal preferences and a little info is greatly appreciated. No worries on pricepoint if i like it and want it, Ill get it. Thanks in advanced for considerate contributions. It will most likely end up underneath an array of RTAs.

I just bought an ageis. It is comfortable in the hand and as tough as described. It is as big as a dual battery mod though and has but one 26650. Ability to handle 30mm tanks is a plus. The popular dual battery mods atm seem to be the aspire speeder and the smoat battle star or Charon

i saw the aegis has a 18650 adapter though correct?
Yeah but it’s a big rubber washer. Kind of a pain in the ..... I find it’s easier to wrap a piece of scrap paper around an 18650 to use in a pinch instead of the adapter. It’s really a 26650 mod.

The big win for the ageis imho is it is NOT made of zinc alloy. I never have to worry about the paint falling off, it will last years. It’s as tough or tougher than mods costing 3 times as much. It’s large even for a 26650 mod though. I find it’s about as big as a pocket can handle.

Plus it’s nice to know with winter coming it won’t get wrecked if I drop it in the snow.

The Speeder is a popular choice lately, I've only heard good things about it. If you want a DNA mod, there are several great options. I'm a fan of the Tesla Steampunk Nano 120, which is now an "older" mod, it can be purchased fairly inexpensively now that Tesla is coming out with a new Punk mod, with higher wattage, the vape is smooth and consistent and it does TC well. The battery door can be an issue if you use lighter tanks (I think they may have improved this on later models, too) and it does TC well. It's heavy, and it's not a DNA mod, but one of my favorites.

Others that are well liked: The Minikin (TC somewhat unreliable by some reports)
Voopoo drag
Smoant Battlestar or Smoant Anything
the Geekvape Ages gets great reviews....
etc.

Good luck,

Anna
