On Nov. 8, 2019, xtar released its new product, VC8 charger. It is xtar'S first 8x21700 protected battery charger with a capacity test function.

Let's take a detailed look at its features:
8 Bays, Independent Control
VC8 charger supports 8 bays simultaneously independent charging without affecting. Automatically and manually select the optimum charge current.

Fully Compatible, One is Enough
Apply to 3.6V/3.7V Li-ion/IMR/INR/ICR batteries: 10440 14500 14650 16340 17500 17670 18350 18490 18500 18650 18700 20700 21700 22650 25500 26650
1.2V Ni-MH / Ni-CD: AAAA / AAA / AA / A / SC / C
It can also charge the protected 21700/20700 batteries.

Type-C Powered, QC3.0 3A Fast Charging
Applied the most popular Type-C port, compatible with most phone adapters on the market, no more need for another. Support QC3.0 fast charging, max 3A for a single slot when the battery resistance is low enough.

Test Batteries’ Real Capacity
In grading mode (for CH1-CH4), the charger tests batteries’ real capacity by “charging-discharging-charging” the batteries, so that users can know whether the battery capacity is overstated or not, and also distinguish good-performance batteries with the bad ones.

Maximize Batteries’ Lifespan
The charger can charge or discharge the battery to its rated voltage in storing mode (for CH1-CH4), when the battery is not used for a long time or used for long-distance transportation, so as to maximize the battery lifespan and save energy.

Built-in high-precision MCU, over-current, over-charge, over-voltage, and short-circuit protection. The charger will automatically stop charging after fully charged batteries, safe and worry-free.

It's your great intelligent battery steward.
