LOL...snicker...snort...

you ready for it?...............

Be fair, in those threads where I said Reos turn people into pod people, I also said that was an indication they were a good device. :) About the only other thing that has attracted that kind of following has been the go-go. Now that's been diluted by the Igo.

WELCOME new REOnaut!!! :)

Oh, and get some AW IMR batteries and a LR atty, and you will see what the Mini can do.

I don't care for LR. I'm not cannibalistic enough to enjoy my own cooked tongue. :) Give me a 2.5 ohm 901 at 4.7 volts. It will violate the Reo's all mechanical principals but, really the device should provide the voltage regulation not the battery. When (not if) there's a VV Reo, I'm sure it'll have voltage regulation. In the mean time, the mini will be handy for out and about.

I do have one question. As I said, I got this on classifieds. So, I don't know how old it is. It's in excellent shape. Was there ever a model of the mini that did not have a locking button? I can turn this button all day without it locking.

LOL, I'm just having fun and I know you are too. I have never felt insulted or attacked by you :)

If you like 2.5 ohms at 4.7, you are vaping right around 9 watts. You can get the same wattage from a 1.8 ohm atty on an AW IMR 14500, which is the only battery that should be used on the Mini, and it gives a pretty consistent vape. I know you are a VV guy, but you might as well get the best performance possible out of your Mini.

No, all REOs come with a locking button. Some people remove the pin from the button, which defeats the locking mechanism. If you want it to lock, PM Rob (redeyedancer). He can fix it, or you could replace the button yourself with a little instruction.
