Goin' Mobile... eeh ooh, beep beep!
I've suspected a very small vacuum being created as being a good deal of the problems with the E2's, and I even more felt that way when I saw what BR said was happening with the ends of the coils gunking at the filler ring slits. It kinda' seemed to me, from reading here, that every time someone had a better experience with the E2's wicking, they had either removed the filler ring, or the middle ring that plugs the filler holes in the filler ring if the filler ring is used. Simply removing the middle ring allows air to get into the E2 tank through the filler holes.

I'm not saying a partial vacuum being created is ALL of the problem, but I think it is a good deal of the problem. Maybe I have a propensity to think along these lines because a good deal of my work life was in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and I know from experience in this area what happens when pathways for gas or fluids get really, really small. IOW, I could be all wrong.

In the tankomizer tank, any partial vacuum created would indeed restrict natural liquid flow and a vent/vacuum break seems necessary in some form. The vacuum is against the direction of flow.

In theory, and according to almost all of the anecdotal evidence presented in this thread, the partial vacuum created in the CE2 assists with its wicking… it is after all, in the direction of flow rather than against it. The only source of vacuum break or venting in the CE2 during a draw is the air stem. The original design tries to place 100% of the vacuum forces 100% within the cup. The consternating part of this (for me) is that they absolutely work better when the partial vacuum forces are allowed to exist throughout the vapor space in the tube, rather than just within the cup.

I'm placing my money on a small steel ball-bearing in the tankomizer. Getting a dry vape?.. gently shaking the ecig 3 or 4 times vertically (think aerosol cans here) and the weight of the moving ball might push liquid down into the nozzle.

Of course, it might also act as a valve, stopping up the exit :( ...but that doesn't seem to happen in fountain pens.

I don't know the answer to your question, but just wanted to say that you and I are probably the only two people in this thread who know where Sullivan is. Nice little Hoosier town :)
Then I must be the ONLY one who's made the 1200 foot crawl way in Sullivan's Cave, grew up in Blomington. Let everyone think IN is flat and dull like the North, there's no hollow limestone hills in the south, none at all, all just corn fields

the tank hold like 12 drops, do you really want to add a bearing in thier and shrink that number down.
if the thing worked like it should then i would say fill up 5 or so tanks and take to go after pluggin the hole on each tank so it dont spill, then you would want different attys for different flavors and at these prices its not worth it. ive tried thin and thick juice and i cant get them to perform correctly. i was told the reason behind this is becuase the company made these atomizers to only work with thier ego. so thats what is going on

I think what the E@'s need is a coil that is consistently loose on the wick. I have to clean and there is gunk, but the main problem is that the ones with tight wicks just don't do well. Every one has a different level of tightness. Fire whatever machine they use because it is drunk on the job.

please email microcig and tell them to check the coils becuase they are still to tight, i keep telling them so others need to as well.

im sending your out with everyones order sorry i have been sick and busy and packed with people.

Oh, hope you are feeling better now. just email me the cost (as I understand the shipping can be expensive), also the reason I ask you to send me more...worth the shipping since those ptb are so dang light in weight...lolol. Do let me know, I want to reimburse you since you did such an excellent job at improving the E2 and also to lighten your burden on the expenses on the tankomizer. :)

edit: since microcig is a business, I dont think they will want to produce something that will last for a long time! JMO

the e2 already lasts a long time, they said they extended the wicks so now they need to either clean each e2 or burn the wick before inserting into the e2 so people dont get a bad taste. they will listen to what be did with the wires so the sleeve can be removed and allow more room arund the cup . They have gone this far, 2 minor fixes that dont need new molds need to be fixed.

the e2 is pretty big right now, many people sell them and lots of them and its becoming a household name, just look at these threads how big theya re and my youtube account, 25k views for the e2. so they should go out of thier way to fix minor issues then they will be accepted more.

Bad, it's not quite clear about what you said. Are you saying that they will reroute the wires and eliminate the shrink wrap on the cup?

if you contact him and explain it easily for him yes.

i told them today to burn the dam wick and check to make sure no fluids are being used when they put together the e2 and when they insert plugs. I mentioned your idea and told them you said this would fix many things and save money so they want to know how.

so email him . instead of doing nothing all day down in the basement, eating cheetos and oreos and dingdings aint gonna fix our minor issues br.
