i'll make sure i report back - also, i think there were plenty of others who ordered so feedback should be forthcoming. apparently my order was filled last night, imagine it'll go to the po today since tracking was provided.
i had very bad luck with the ego batteries from danno and can't justify spending that amount of money again

I think the investment in a solid PV is a good idea. I have a BB and a Silver Bullet from AltSmoke. Can't imagine any better build quality and ergonomics. Rock solid. BB - 14500 battery, SB - 18650 battery. AW batteries. Never did a comparative cost analysis but with 4 14500s and 2 18650s for rotation I expect to be set for more than a couple of years.

but if you ask tweety she will tell you us girls don't like the looks of those big mods, lol, no matter how well built they are!

btw just found out the kit i ordered comes with 2 UNPROTECTED cr123s. i guess i will have to read up on batteries ......

the connector is an 801. i ordered an 801 to 510 adapter with it but seem to remember some other size is compatible with that. more homework

I will admit that the mod market does seem to have overlooked you girls. (well if you don't count the "Vape&Vibe" that is) They either look like a tool or a baseball bat or monster mag light. I tell people that mine is a "Buried underground cable locator" and they believe me. There isn't so much in the Gold, Silver and nice imbedded stones like there was with something as simple as those old bic lighter cases.

The Vape&Vibe? Come again? ( no pun intended )

Ordering a mod with a large battery was a big mistake. Now you what if you don't want to use anything else. That's what happened to me once I got a provari. Unfortunately the smaller batteries including the ego just don't produce enough power. That doesn't mean high voltage but enough watts for good smoke and flavor.

Well... granted it's not cigarette sized but the BB is not exactly a "big" mod. Takes a 14500 battery which should last maybe 6 - 8 hours? BB is the small one, SB is the large one. They now have the Alpha which is the BB sized Omega :) (all mechanical, no switch, with a tapered, hour glass shaped body making it even more svelt)

Tweety here, reporting for duty!

Tweety has been seriously considering the Infinity. Nice size and and variable voltage. However, it uses odd sized batteries. But looks nice. It would let me use up all those odd cartos I have accumulated... Some of them are very good cartos, but most are just too high or too low resistance to work with my proprietary batteries (mostly 3.2v, 3.6v and 3.7v). Yeah, it's expensive, but so is buying replacement proprietary batteries.

So what do the experts think?

I'm no expert Tweety but,,, I think that there is a lot to be said for common size batteries. and VV is a must have. Other than that, hey,, I'm a guy, I don't care if it looks like a claw hammer.

well, i guess i can vary the voltage on the sparkplug by using different batteries, lol - and i got some skins to pretty it up

see what i did, tweety? i hijacked br's thread, think he'll forgive me?

Good luck with your new mod, Tibs. Keep us posted.

BR will forgive you. Just bring him a bag of Cheetos. Or Oreos. :) He has a big heart.
