Reunion Thread???? Ya'll moved while I wasn't looking. (Sounds like my parents... er well it was only the one time)
Where has everybody gone????

Moved on to better/different things like iAtties and G5's :)

The CE2's perform well but they were just too fiddly to refill, it's just too much hassle over time.

    Different? Yes. Better? I dunno…

I’ve tried Everything there is a few things that aren’t even available yet. Some have things I like filling and maintenance wise and some hit better than others.

But no matter what I try, at the end of the day I still seem to find myself vaping on a Metal CE2 rev”4”.

To me the filling isn’t an issue. I use a customized Dental Pick to remove the seals and the head of a Drywall Screw to replace them. Maintenance involves a quick hit with a Detek Brush soaked in Vodka

And Dry Burning has become routine. A soak in White Vinegar, a Rinse, a Dry and the Burn.

So I guess to someone who hasn’t been involved with the E2 – CE2’s or to those who went down the OEM Clearo road yes, they could be a hassle. But for those who know how to use them the hit they get is hard to beat.

    zoiDman,

The G4's and G5's were a better solution for me since they literally take 5 seconds to refill, they are strong and clear, and they perform quite well at higher voltage (about 4.5v). I was willing to trade of some performance for ease of use. I was allocating half an hour a day topping up 6-10 CE2's, now it takes a minute or two. I must admit I do miss the flavor and performance of the CE2's, but the iAtty has that covered. It's still not as warm as the CE2, but the amount of vapor and TH is amazing.

rbonie, COV sell them in the US. GG iAtty Rebuildable Tank

    Everyone has there own needs.

I don't seem to vape that much so 2 full XL CE2's gets me thru the day.

If easy fill is something important to you, you should try the New Sapphires from gotvapes. It's a bottom coil so the hit isn't as warm as a Top coil but it's a Very Nice carto all the way around. And, they don't leak.

Man... That iAtty tank looks nice but Holy Flinkering Snit, $122. Yikes

    @zoiD,

Hehe yeah it's expensive but it's a permanent solution that should last many years. It actually has a CE2 cup with replaceable wick and coil, and you can choose any ohm rating so you can make it perform great even at 3.3v

I haven't heard of the Sapphires, I'll have a look. iAtty is not small so I'd like to use smaller carto's when out and about.

Are you blowing it out well before you start using it? After the air tube is cleared you really shouldn't get any aditional juice in there.

I really like the CE2's but, I don't know what to do to keep the juice from coming up into the mouth piece, and getting into my mouth. I seem to be constantly taking off the mouth piece and soaking up juice under it with a Q-tip. Would like suggestions on what to do. THANKS

Try blowing through the threaded end before vaping them to release any excess juice in the coil.

Yes I do blow it out every time I take the mouth piece off and soak up the juice. It gets trapped between the cap over the coil and the mouth piece. Maybe I am sucking to hard when I vape? I don't have much of a problem with most of the other carto's, Just the CE2's.
